I think you've misunderstood.

His "dub or original" line refers to 'dub of a song from the JPN version' and 'original song crafted for the show aka Rock The Dragon'.

The german dub did a very good job with the songs. Also the brazilian and the latin american too.

Personally I think the brazilian version of Dragon Soul is better than the own japanese. But the english(Vic) is very good too.

And as I think I said before, I think the best version for Makafushigi Adventure is the english filipino one.

The German dub songs are awesome in that they re-recorded the instrumental, sort of updating it while totally respecting the original song.
That's what we'd need instead of full remixes, just an instrumental update!

The nine Philippe English versions are worth listening too for the same reasons although they sometimes completely remix the track into something completely new (which is not always successful, but really great with Incredible Zenkai Power sounding as if it was sung by little Simba from The Lion King).

The Italian openings and endings are amazing! They almost rival the Japanese versions, in my opinion. I'm not just talking about one series, either. Every opening and ending from all three series are great!
