The highest Super has ever done was around their opening it was somewhere around 1300 by contrast Buu kai at its highest did around 1400-1500. Toonami and even Super overall is doing fine however it doesn't seem like it's the big catch they were hoping it would be.

It would've if they got exclusive anime that hasn't been dubbed or released in America.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

That's not a realistic possibility for content they don't produce themselves. Further I mean strictly in terms of it airing multiple times a day.

Well i will say one thing Toonami is certainly trying to figure out its ratings issue. But my gosh these ratings are attrocious. If this keeps up Toonami may not make it till the end of this year. Hopefully tonight will be the last low rating for Super. Then with the new content we can get huge ratings. If not oh boy.

One thing that Lord Beerus has not mentioned, is that the 8PM slot almost doubled the ratings when taking account of the DVD-R ratings. That IS a thing that companies take into consideration. Dont worry minna-san.

This forum is so over-dramatic that it's not even funny.

Isn't TV as a whole dying out a bit ? I read that views everywhere are a lot lower than before thanks to streaming sites and home media.

I really have no idea of what can be done to help the ratings...If this keeps up...

Pretty sure I've asked this before, but what is it about JoJo that drives the casual audience away like this? Sub-600k ratings at midnight has been unheard of until now, and it's especially distressing since we're not only into Part 3 (the most popular part), but unlike the first two parts (which were on DVD before they aired on Toonami) this dub has never been heard before.

I've been holding my tongue on this because I was hoping things would improve, but it's seriously getting more alarming by the week. We're at the point now where most of the block is pulling in ratings comparable to or worse than what One Piece got on average at 2:30am, and One Piece's ratings were considered disappointing enough by the network to have the show pulled. Toonami may not survive for much longer at this rate.
I also go by "veemonjosh".
