Sabat updated his Super status to "WAIT FOR IT!" hopefully that's a good sign of the dub announcement soon since Viz is doing the manga now. Sabat's status is usually "nothing yet" or "don't know".

Well with Anime Expo just around the corner... fingers crossed.

It would seem that the rumors are true and they are indeed skipping Buu Kai in favor of Super. Well, that's kind of disappointing.

Shows are announced early all the time and don't debut until later so Super being announced doesn't mean Buu won't air but if it doesn't then we won't have to wait as long as we thought to get the home release.

I won't give my hopes up yet. I will wait and see for myself. I still the Buu saga Kai will be out on TV first unless Toonami will skip the Buu saga and go directly to Super. If they do announce Super, it will be at least quicker when GT was announced back in 2003. Here's a look back before GT was announced in the US:

Super is hot right now, so I think they will air Buu saga on Toonami alongside Super. It's not the first time that something like this has happened, I recall seeing Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu-Gi-Oh GX! air on the same network at once. Actually now that I think about it, 5D's was on there too.

Things are different now when it was 10 years ago. We are limited to Toonami from 11:30 - 3:00 and I can't see them doing two time slots for Dragon Ball. Toonami needs the other time slots for brand new anime.

Toonami would most likely replace Kai with Super. Especially since the live premiere of episode one would bring in such a large audience like with HxH.

I would hope they would play both, like they played DB and DBZ back to back.
