Yamamuro's character sheets for Goku Black were shown at Toei's booth at Anime Expo. The text next to Black's earring reads "Potara" (ポタラ). I believe this is the first confirmation of what exactly it is.

Funimation's panel is on Sunday and they said they had big announcements so they could say something about Super.

It obviously means something. Why would he be wearing a single potara? It was also emphasized in one of the trailers. Just because the meaning hasn't been revealed doesn't mean it doesn't have one.

He said "For the time being it literally doesn't mean anything", he didn't say it had no meaning forever.

Exactly.

"For the time being" is the key there. For the time being, it means nothing. Him wearing a Potara is not a confirmation that he's a fused being, it doesn't confirm the earrings now have the power to split people into good and bad halves, or whatever. For all we know, he could have just found one and decided to put it on.

That last suggestion is unlikely. It will certainly mean something, but only once that something is revealed. The point is that confirming what the object is does not confirm speculation exhibit A or theory B for now.

Toonami would most likely replace Kai with Super. Especially since the live premiere of episode one would bring in such a large audience like with HxH.

Why they are taking so long to telecast Kai 2.0?

They need to air the episodes in order. We have 15-20 something episodes left until we reach Buu saga Kai.

Why? Most people have seen Z all the way through. Seeing an abridge version the Buu Saga, which isn't as abridge well as Kai 1.0, isn't really necessary.

Over 300,000 viewers tuned out after Kai and never came back in any capacity. They basically stuck around for Kai and then bailed.

Do you think Toonami are going to sit around and let all those viewers go instead of airing more Kai episodes ?

If the original Kai which aired before and has been on home video for years is doing this good then how good do you think a Toonami exclusive will do ? it'll probably bring in double what the current Kai does and there's no way Toonami are going to let that go.

Super 1st few episodes will bring in even more viewers but after people see its "quality" the ratings moving foreword will more than likely drop like a rock.
