There's also Toriyama's and Toyotaro's interview, where they talked like Gohan becoming a scholar was pretty much the ending of his story, with no references to his return to training after Revival F.
I agree with everything but this... I don't really see how they were talking like it was the ending of his story. Just that he finally achieved his dream.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

kinisking wrote: No it isn't, because even after ROF we had a scene where Gohan and Pic were training. Completely different than the manga.

Gohan and Piccolo training were related to the events of the Resurrection 'F' Saga and the manga rushed many things. Which is why I said using the manga as a basic for anything is flawed, especially since you nor I have Toriyama's script to know what is and what isn't added.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Which was lovely, but sort of hard to understand given that it's the only episode they've tweaked in two whole boxes - and it was by no means the worst to begin with. But meh, I guess Shimanuki(?) must have felt so strongly about his work that he stuck his neck out and opted-in to make corrections.

I'm about halfway through watching my BD Box 3 so far, and I've gotta say, I'm finding the experience of bulk-watching Super makes me reflect much less harshly upon it as an overall cohesive product than I often feel after microscopically analysing each episode as it airs.

It is really weird. Not just because I felt the episode wasn't awful enough to warrant drastic changes, but because Shimanuki didn't actually provide any of his own corrections whatsoever. The large majority of it was done by Naoki Tate, with a lot of the stills redrawn by Takeo Ide. So yeah, I have no idea whose call it was, or why they chose that episode over #24 in the last set.

It is bizarre, and not least that it was actually Tate who contributed the moving stuff. Now you mention it, I'm not sure how I missed it on first watching.

I've been so zoned lately that the release of Box 3 actually caught me unawares - I had genuinely forgotten that I'd ordered it or that it was even due out when it showed up late last week. But yeah, stressful job with a 110 mile daily commute, giving me 12 hour days whilst I juggle a part-time masters and allow myself occasional sleep

Man, I was exactly the same. I didn't even realise it was out until I suddenly those first correction comparisons pop up on Twitter, and that was a good few days after release!

I think the lack of changes in Box 2 totally killed all my interest in Box 3. Woops~

So I should forget about getting the Goku vs Botamo fight corrected in bluray right?
Yamamuro hasn't contributed to the series so far(except endings and episode 13 and 39), he could be the one in charge of the corrections because It seems he doesn't have a lot of work with DBS...

I was really hoping they'd announce something. Battle of Gods was teased on July 7th and Resurrection F teased on July 15th.

Were currently in the middle of those dates. I doubt we'll get one, Super is probably taking up too much of the staffs time. If Toriyama is writing these outlines for the show if he gonna have time to do a script aswell?

They could make it work but I don't expect anything now sadly.

I hope we get a Beerus vs. Goku Black fight. I would like to see Beerus lose his first fight, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

I'm not saying we will get a new film, but if we are, it's probably more important to note the day of those announcements rather than the date itself. Info on both films broke on a Tuesday. The 4th already passed, but we still have the 12th, 19th and 26th.

I'd probably rule out the 26th though, as that would be after V-Jump releases and they'd likely want to preempt that.

Oh I see that's interesting, was there any particular reason why they were announced on a Tuesday or is that just a coincidence?

I think they were announced in a magazine that releases on Tuesday.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

If a new movie is announced, be interesting to see if they stick "Z" or try and push "Super".

I think they'll just use "Dragon Ball" on it's own. They bearing of "Z" or "Super" really does add a significant amount of bearing as to whether the general public will be interested or not.
