I honestly think that Vegetto would have even been more better if he was wearing a combination of their RoF outfits. Otherwise, it's just SS Vegetto with painted blue hair -- reminds me of those bootleg AF figures.

I wonder if Vegito coming back was the sole purpose of them not using their RoF outfits in this arc. I suppose it would have been a bit strange combined that way?

That's what I'm thinking. I don't see any other reason to replace their outfits since it is their signature outfits for DB Super (though you can argue they only wore it for 2 arcs, but even then, Goku is even wearing it on the cover of the first volume of DBS). Hell, it's their signature outfits in XV2. I wouldn't doubt that once this arc is over, Toei will put them back in their RoF outfits. 'Tis a shame, really. I really wanted to see a RoF-outfit-wearing Vegetto.

Yeah I know, but SSJB is my favourite transformation, so for that reason I jump at figures that use it, and especially when it's Vegetto who's my favourite character.

I've gotta say, I would have much preferred if his outfit was different, of course the F outfits would have been #1, but with what we ended up getting maybe Vegetas compression fittings on the upper body without Gokus under shirt would have been best. If we're lucky we might get SoL Vegetto and he might just naturally mix and match Gokus and Vegetas clothes, so we could get F outfit Vegetto... Sorta.

It doesn't make any sense at all for Vegetto to have trouble sustaining SSJ Blue. Because SSJ Blue is the most stable and controlled SSJ Form. (Stated) when Goku tried to use Kaioken. So Forget the Manga! with Toyotaro needlessly adding that tidbit about the downside of SSJ Blue because he doesn't have one! What happens in the manga has absolutely no bearing on the anime.
MSSJ and SSJ Blue are the two most stable and ki-controlled versions of SSJ out there! No question. And there would be no point at all for them to nerf Vegetto thay way who used to be the ultimate warrior.

Although the silly "transforming twice burns 90% of your power!" flaw was Toyotaro-only, there's also a line about how the transformation eats energy that seems to have come from Toriyama himself, considering how it was in both anime and manga. It's the whole reason Goku initially faces Hit in base. The idea that it's the most stable and controlled Super Saiyan form doesn't seem to come from Toriyama. So, it's possible he could write something about SSB alongside Fusion being unstable for some reason.

Not a huge fan of that line, wish Barnpresto would release Rosé Black, Zamasu, Vegetto in thier new Super Warriors line.

The sword of Trunks is broken so i don't think they can use Mafuba on it. Bulma or mai will have another thing by Muten Roshi. For the weakness of the SSBLUE in the Manga, it's the impossibility to Transforming again and again in a short amount of time. That's not the case for Vegetto, maybe the weakness is now the same than the Metamoru-Fusion ? Because Potara-Fusion become an incomplete fusion after another usage ?
