Because "filler" it's a word widely used to adress those chapters in anime that wasn't on the source manga, meaning that they aren't from the original author. And, incidentally, they usually don't bring anithing to the story, wich is bad when you are triying to narrate something.

I know that DBS is a special case and not exactly the same described above, but it really is something similar.

I'm not judging this particular future chapters, though. They sound like fun.

What is wrong with wasting wishes? R they limited or something? I am surprised Roshi and 18 havent wished for selfish things yet, Roshi, something perverted and 18 a ton of money. Rest r clearly doing it out of need, Pan seems to be sick and Gohan wants Shenlong to heal her, which makes sense and Goku finally remembered to revive king kai, ofc he proly wont get since all the wishes will be used up lol. Funny.
