I'm still not excited for yet another tournament so soon, but I'm happy that 18 and 17 get to do plot stuff.

Predicting now that Super's endgame is to have Goku and co.'s influence cause the Zenous to be more patient and respectful with mortal life. No universes will be destroyed.

Would be a similar takeaway to the end of Dr. Slump, and a decent narrative use of all the new mythos to be added since the series' revival.

I thought that was a given? I mean, it's too important of a development and they're even in the poster of the new arc penned by Toriyama.

I seriously doubt they're gonna all be destroyed. But probably we lose a couple to give a sense of threat.

I don't think they'll all be destroyed, but some will. I doubt this tournament won't face any interruptions.

I don't want the Zenous to be presented as purely villainous, though, because there's something charming about the ultimate key to Dragon World being an imaginative child.

I'd much rather a positive change/maturation than a defeat.

I'm also curious as to how, or if, Super will continue after this arc. The setup really seems like a culmination of everything that's been introduced since Battle of Gods.

... like, everyone wanted to see whats in other universe and now he is destroying them so that theres nothing left to explore

I do wonder what would be for the losing teams, where are they going to live? are they going to be killed?

sort of a cop out, but I can't imagine them introducing all these universes and just leaving Universe 7 at the end?
