The epic tale of how Sean Schemmel blocked me on Twitter:
I tagged him in a thread explaining how his performance wasn't rerecorded when FUNi were redoing parts of the early Z dub for the Orange Bricks.
He thought I was misrepresenting his work by saying he wasn't in something he was in.
I explained how that wasn't the situation & did a bit of a sarcastic kinda thing involving the rerecordings FUNi did for the Z dub to show how stupid that was.
He said they didn't record him & not use his recordings.
Blocked & he deleted his response tweets to me.
???
Profit...?
I'm a bit worried about the potential silver hair. It's a fine line between Goku just looking like an old dude with gray hair and having actually silver hair. They need to get the coloring consistently right and not repeat Blue, a form that looks great when colored correctly but often strayed into this butt ugly greenish color.
My other problem with this change is that it's almost guaranteed to not look as good as the "Omen" version we're already familiar with. AT BEST, it will look "not terrible", and at worst it could completely ruin the form. Very worried as of now, but also excited just because a "new" form is always an event to remember.
Not gonna lie, I'm not keen on the idea of silver haired Goku. It takes away from the simplicity of Ultra Instinct and makes it feel like yet another bloody hair colour. The "Omen" form was already iconic after just two appearances.
I at least hope we still get shirtless omen UI Gokû as advertised earlier in the arc. Though this arc in general is such a long and winding jumbled mess for me with a few bright spots sticking out that it's easier for me to deal with the series ending next month than it would've been if I'd felt really good about this tournament. This grey hair UI thing is just one more unfortunate bump in the road, imo.

What the fuck fanbase!?
Every sane fapper knows you look up '*Waifu* Sexy' or '*Waifu* Boobs'! Bloody savages.
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

Okay very serious question that i need to know. The right image with Goku’s silver hair, is that officially revealed just now? And if so where? Or is that just a fans doing, changing it’s color. Because i do remember this exact shot as being Toriyama’s official art of UI Goku but then with Black hair ofcourse.
There is not a single UI Goku illustration from Toriyama.

You’re wrong. There is.
That's not by Toriyama, that's the character design by Tadayoshi Yamamuro.

It seems like he should have some hard white highlights and the darkest shade should be a little darker but I wasn't sure how to do those. Not a bad color, I think.
I agree but I wish his hair was a bit more different from his Base.

I'm almost sure this are from Yamamuro as I remember Toriyama don't draw big muscles anymore
Power levels are not just big numbers:
Spoiler:
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
"Omen" is literally base Goku with slighty spiky hair and silver eyes, we were flat out told #116 it wasn't Ultra Instinct. Plus the initial Vjump reveal of "Omen" didn't mention his hair just talked about his eyes and expression. Clues were literally right there.
I for one am thrilled, means all my pre ordered UI Goku's weren't a waste, I was worried it might've been red, but silver will look dope.
Reminds me when people were getting worried about Rosé saying it would look stupid etc.
I think it's funny and sad that Heroes got the wrong hair color for Vegeta's new form, hopefully they fix it in a future update, but they still haven't fixed UI Omen's hair shape.
Hopefully they at least got the fact that the hair is more wild right on the model, but I doubt it.

A new DB Heroes card labels sparkle!Vegeta as the "prince who has surpassed his limits" ("Limit-Break Prince" if you want to be catchy). Also there's seemingly some kinda silver-haired Goku.

We already got a name for Vegetas transformation.
That's the card skill name, the form name will be on the back.

Oh really? Than i must give him credit for his brilliant design! Truly one of the best artists out there. I praise him.
The only real thing I dislike about the design is how the torso is a little messy. It has a ridiculous arch to it and I think it that torso probably would have benefitted if it was slightly longer.
