Thats not a rebuttal to what i said.

Also while there was a ton of reusage I'm mad about it to, toei is known for using cost effective tactics or are we seriously going to pretend Super is the only one in the franchise that did this.

And Vegeta once again reaffirms what I've come to vehemently dislike about Dragon Ball in the modern age -- speciesist primacy with what seems to be an unending stranglehold on the content of the show. It's all so convenient for his myopic narrative when everyone else except him and Goku is shut out from partaking in the same training opportunities and learning the same abilities. Plus, Toei has gone to great lengths to embellish their power with what looks like an unending zenkai type state where their power seems to continually grow for no reason except that they happen to be fighting. It doesn't even require them being pushed to the brink of death anymore.

Don't care all too much for the flashy new transformation. I guess in terms of visuals it's pretty, but prettiness isn't equivalent to substance. You know, with a form that should be relying upon the basic instincts of the person, you would assume that the conduct of their body would become savage and animalistic. It's essentially basic instincts taking over their actions and thought process. Artificial methodologies of action that are learned shouldn't be possible, right? It would mean that whatever distorted watered down rendition of "Kung Fu" he learned from his grandfather wouldn't be usable under the circumstances.

Just watched the episode and boy it was pretty meh outside of the last five minutes. Though I did like seeing Jiren getting his arse whooped but at the same time I'm conflicted about it. Though I dislike Jiren, even I wouldn't be a fan if he gets beaten effortlessly by Goku next episode, cause that would be pretty anticlimactic for a final fight. Though I guess it might not be since Freeza is still in but I honestly have no clue what he will do.

The problem with Jiren is that it's impossible to tell how much of his power he's using to begin with throughout most of the arc. Characters have said he's raised his power, they've even said he's decreased his power, not even a vague resemblance of a percentage is provided, and he seems to do all of this on nothing more than a whim.

He seems to be so bored with fighting that he's effectively a boring fighter himself. I suppose we'll see his true true true TRUE power in the next episode.

Jimeze since he hails from a group of beings who are famous for their strange and various abilities. Shame we got to see nothing original from him in this tournament. It's a creative disappointment if you ask me.
