Good news, i was sure the entire "Goku falls out of the ring" thing wasn't as straightforward as we thought.

Shaping up for a 2 vs 1 final fight.

Maybe beacause they're all exhausted by the battle, their power levels may be similar at this point, giving Frieza an opportunity to be very useful.

Toeii is the god of foreshadowing. The episode when Golden Freeza trapped Goku in the Hakai energy ball is what going to happen. They will fight Jiren and win then Freeza will try to trick Goku (attack him) to get the wish but Goku counter it now (because he has the MUI)

Well, this pretty much kills the idea that Mastered Ultra Instinct jobbed out to Jiren. It seems more like the form just burned out before Goku could finish off Jiren.

And Goku and Freeza fighting together is still such a surreal sight.

Uhm i don’t know why everyone is celebrating all of a sudden, but they could both be sitting on the bench and believe they’re getting erased by Zeno.

Also, even if Goku isn’t eliminated, the writing is still crap and we still have the same problem as before - MUI Goku getting HIT by Jiren. Aswell as losing the form because of it!

UI Goku getting hit isn’t bad writing. Your body moving on it’s own doesn’t matter if it can’t move fast enough to dodge someone with superior speed.

It's playing to a previously seen convention of some variety. Darn... You can count me as part of the demographic of fans who was hoping to see Goku get eliminated. Now with Freeza apparently bearing his fangs in unison with Goku, the odds of a victory for the intergalactic tyrant seem bleaker. One can hope that a miracle of sorts happens but I'm not going to hold my breath.

The spoilers were very clear when they said that Goku fell out of the arena. If he did not fall, then this is going to be a mistake of the synopsis. And if he does not fall, you can imagine that TOEI would not have the courage to eliminate Goku

I thought the point of UI was not that he couldn't be hit but that he can avoid any danger (anime) or you can take on any enemy (manga).

And getting hit isn't exactly the same as danger

I was sure after yesterday's spoiler Goku would be eliminated, especially since it asked how Frieza would fare against Jiren. But the 131 preview pic, says otherwise.

Just going to wait for the episode these spoilers have thrown me off

I think consistency is very important as most will expect it in other things such as movies and games so I don't know why Super gets a pass for the lack of it. It seems like it gets away with a lot of things that others would get thrown under the bus for.

Outside of Japan, most people got into Dragonball through the anime, which was filled with inconsistencies in the filler scenes. Most people don't really look closely enough at entertainment to care.

I will miss super. Was looking forward every sunday for the past 2+ years for a super episode and now in 2 weeks that will all go away. Be it how it was, it was a fun.

Goku falling or staying in the arena has NOTHING to do with Toei's courage. It triggers me how they get blamed for everything. Something as important as Goku's placement in the tournament is wirtten by Toryiama. Toei has no power over what he decides.
