So what is the track record of this so called "leaker" because I have never heard of him. However, if we do take up his word on it then it does make sense that an announcement will come soon considering there is no DB panel on Jump Feista. Guess Toei has decided to announce the anime a bit earlier perhaps to coincide with the release of Super Hero on blu ray maybe???

At this point in timeline, I trust only DBS Hype… and take him as a testing paper.
Everything else only by official announcements.

We already had an announcement with Shintani years ago (because duh, everyone is still blown away by his style in DBS Broly and imagine a series like that).
So I call Spanku’s leak to be bull and one of many we had and that are continously popping up, because one of them will nail the timing for sure!
Such a popular franchise has to have an anime series coming up at any moment, so let’s gamble about it with leaks.
That’s how I imagine this going on behind the scenes.

Seriously, look up DBSHype, last time he leaked info about Bardock DLC in Kakarot. So far, this guys is legit. Also, he mostly foreshadows and knows general info.
Usually, all these fake leaks with plot details and staff listings are the most untrustworthy based on my personal experience. Also notice, how lot of the details are a cliché fan pleasings to generate some buzz among the audience and bait them in.

He didn't confirm anything. He 'leaked' something weeks ago as if it was close and nothing happened. These leakers are just creating false hype.

Quoting people from Twitter is honestly not very far from saying "My uncle works at Nintendo and he says". At least consider that a lot of us have no idea who these people you're quoting even are. For now, I have to agree with MCDaveG for the most part, I only trust leaks from a select few sources, and this isn't one of them. If it turns out to be correct, hey, that's great, but for now I don't have a reason to believe it.

Again, he was 'leaking' Super weeks ago and nothing came of it. Just like every other "DBS 2 confirmed" leak in the past 3 years.

Also anyone remember TOEI being really strict?
Nevermind their youtube hunt, but during the Kai release, or rather before it, we've got a leak here from guy who was working on the "remaster" re-drawing process in TOEI Philippines on Kai, sent some photos from his workspace as well.
That was the most direct and definitive leak we've ever got. I wonder if this guy is OK, because he was probably laid off and we never heard from him again. NDA was definitely part of his work contract and even in normal companies, the fines are quite brutal for base employees.
This would definitely destroy a career of high ranking manager.

So that's another layer on why I am so skeptical about such leaks. It will definitely not be rewarding at you work with TOEI, to leak something that ton of twitter and youtube accounts shout to the world. I can imagine that DBS Hype is maybe getting this info second hand, as lot of the stuff comes later in V-Jump and magazines and they definitely get the info beforehand to prepare it for publication.
