I guess 17 goes out next week, then Vegeta, remaining only Goku and possibly Freeza on the ring? I'm enjoying thisXeogran wrote:128: Until The End of The Noble Pride! Vegeta Falls!

Goku vs Jiren was obviously expected. But I'm gonna be hopeful and expect that they won't finish their battle in time, the time will run out and when it would seem a draw, Freeza will appear out of nowhere at the right time, thus ensuring Universe 7 victory.

Goku mastering UI is probably one of the biggest asspulls in the history of anime, more than Genkidama Trunks, Erza nakama powerups, Seiya powerups, OH MY RUBBER NEN, GT Goku etc.
Its kinda funny that UI Goku vs Jiren will be as long as Goku vs Kefla.

With how little time the show has left I can't wait to see how they'll tie up Freeza's plot.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

That will anger many but then again I can't think of one ending that will ensure a universal loved ending.Grimlock wrote:Goku vs Jiren was obviously expected. Not that people getting angry by it means something. This end avoids all cliche and bad stuff that would (and probably will) normally happen.

The Freeza subplot is currently the thing I'm most interested in and also the thing I'm most anxious about. It could turn out so bad.sintzu wrote:With how little time the show has left I can't wait to see how they'll tie up Freeza's plot.

It could be an amazing and annoying way to end the show on a cliffhanger.Michsi wrote:The Freeza subplot is currently the thing I'm most interested in and also the thing I'm most anxious about. A cliffhanger is basically a guarantee for a sequel, so that might help soften the blow, but I doubt they'd do that. If the conclusion to the whole Freeza thing is underwhelming it would just be another blunder on Super's already long list of blunders.sintzu wrote:It could be an amazing and annoying way to end the show on a cliffhanger.Michsi wrote:The Freeza subplot is currently the thing I'm most interested in and also the thing I'm most anxious about. Super isn’t going to end on a cliff hanger, so y’all could get that idea out.

128's got tear jerker possibilities; looking forward to it!

The only way Freeza's plot comes to a complete stop is if Zeno erases him which I doubt they'll do.Kenneth La Torre wrote:Super isn’t going to end on a cliff hanger, so y’all could get that idea out.
He could come back to life like what was promised to him. He could be turned into a destroyer. He could somehow take Zeno's place. If it ends in anything like this then that's a cliffhanger (sort of).

The way I see it, at this point, Freeza’s arc could end in one of two ways: either he does something that gets him erased (similar to Frost), or he gets wished back with the Dragon Balls and vows to one day return and get his revenge.

Goku. Should. Not. Win.
Zamasu is the best DB villain besides Freeza (and this is only the case because the current Super arc elevated Freeza to be that good).

lol What do you mean why? Jiren is too damn strong even with UI. Goku still hasn't even recovered his strength nor do i see him recovering it. Even if he masters the technique, he shouldn't win. It's far more appropriate. U7 should lose or win in a way that Jiren isn't defeated in the traditional sense.HeroR wrote:Why?Nero<>Akira wrote:Goku. Should. Not. Win.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
So....like every other Dragon Ball villain? Remember, he was exhausted and could barely stand after using the Spirit Bomb against Freeza on Namek and we know how that ended. And we don't even know how Jiren stacks with a fully mastered UI.Nero<>Akira wrote:lol What do you mean why? Jiren is too damn strong even with UI. And Super already used the 'lose, but still win' angle with Beerus and Hit.
