Future Trunks has no reason to return unless something bad happens in the future. Having him show up just to say hi would come off lazy and feel like bad fan service. That's why I hate when most AF fan fictions bring back Future Trunks.

I agree there's no real reason for Future Trunks to show up. He's from a different time. but I would like to see how his time line is doing though, i wonder if he ever wished back gohan?

It would make for a nice bonus chapter for the manga.

Would like to see Launch and 17 make a return, and Yajirobe was also pretty entertaining, wish he would come back in a bigger role.

I'm also glad they brought back Pilaf Gang in the last two movies, and hopefully they continue to play a big part in Super.

I messed up I guess,I wasn't clear enough. I meant BARDOCK and GINE have unknown fates. We don't see bardock die in the manga canon,he and Gine may live on. That'd be cool.

I messed up I guess,I wasn't clear enough. I meant BARDOCK and GINE have unknown fates. We don't see bardock die in the manga canon,he and Gine may live on. That'd be cool.

We do see Bardock die, there's a panel of his death and both Freeza and the narrator say he died.

Gine may still be alive. I can see it now: she arrives to Earth, only she's been mind-controlled by the evil saiyans that escaped to Planet Xanax. After the evil male saiyans formed a circle around her and spread their power all over her face, she gained access to the super saiyan devil form. Enveloped with pure rage, all she desires now is to fight the strongest beings. Of course, that means her son: Goku! Mother vs Son. Fight of the ages. Fun for the whole family.
