It seems that they're hinting at Beerus potentially training Vegeta, so the idea of him following a different path to Goku's is definitely sticking around. This is a great development, as there's no need for both main characters to have the exact set of powers.

Sounds like the only logical thing to happen. Vegeta learning the hakai and a new technique? I'm not digging for Vegeta to go for an idea similar to GoD Mode Toppo from the anime though. We shall see.

If I were to guess, white hair, but the aura would be what we know off rn, with more colorful schemes as with Merged Zamasu in the anime, maybe some blue glow from a halo appearing? No idea. Ofc I doubt that attaining the higher tiers of UI makes you an angel but meh. They gotta make a visual change so we can realize that Goku is growing. (being sarcastic btw)

I'm very interested in seeing the role Freeza will play in this, as it's becoming clear this is shaping up to be similar to the Namek arc with 3 factions fighting one another for the big prize. I'm also interested in knowing why this new gang wants to meet Zuno. Speaking of the new gang, I highly doubt their "boss" is the real boss of the gang, instead being someone like Ginyu working for someone stronger.

So Elek (or Elec or Erek) seems to be something of a mobster type. What with him talking about how “Information and Money is what it takes to rule the universe. Not really a stance we have heard from a seemingly important character in Dragon Ball so I’m interested in where it goes from here.

Goku will realize that Granolah is similar to Future Trunks and will relate with him. Granolah will understand that the Saiyans were just tools used by Frieza, plus Granolah already hates Frieza. Toriyama loves white-washing the protagonists. Toriyama also loves redeeming villains.

Frieza will be the final villain somehow (he'll find some way to be relevant), Granolah will redeem himself by sacrificing himself to take him down. Calling this now.

Frieza has been around since 2017 at this point. We're in 2021. The arc might end in 2022. Do you want him to be around for literal decades or...? Like he can die now, he's already been around for several years.

I like Vegeta starting a new path but at the same time I feel like they keep adding new things SSBE, Spirit Control , and now some new God Technique. They never seem to stick to anything and what they usually give Vegeta is never quite good enough

I guess we will see if this time will be different and they will follow through

I don’t expect Vegeta to ever truly surpass Goku of course. Then Vegeta would lose his goal. But I also don’t want him to be miles behind Goku either


I also don’t want them to pretend that Vegeta has a chance to beat the main villain with some new technique that’s not going to even come close lol.

This will be interesting. Dragon Ball already has a plethora of new techniques that can be used (I for one remember the Psychic Binding Bojack and his crew used in their movie, which sounds like a perfect counter to someone using UI. Invisible, intangible threads that can bind, crush and immobilize an enemy. How do you defeat that aye? I digress though, I don't think we will go beyond MUI as a form. Omen was a good stepping stone, but perhpas what Whis may refer to is for MUI to become Goku's base. If that's not it, maybe a 'Refined MUI' where the user does not stress their body while using the form, but can't maintain it for long? Dunno...

I rather it would be like that.

I'm alright with them splitting Vegeta off to go learn stuff from Beerus. It's a good lesson about how each person has their own individual personality and ways of doing things and how not everyone takes the exact same path, but tries to take the one that best fits them and how you can try something, learn it isn't for you, and then go on to eventually figure out what does fit you better.

I'm not a fan of the manga but this chapter is...good. Let's hope it doesn't turn out like Moro 'cause I remember the first few chapter of that arc to be really good to.

I really wish for this manga to become a bi-weekly and be given more chapter.
It's crazy how we are just 68 chapter in and we are already at the 6th arc. No wonder they all feel so rushed and I think some of the criticism would take that context into account . Compared to the Boruto manga, 54 chapter and we are only on the 2th arc.

I dunno, in 'old money' (i.e., reckoned against 15-page weekly Chapters) we've got about 170 Chapters-worth of content in Dragon Ball Super so far. By that point, the original Dragon Ball manga was on its 6th arc as well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the current Chapter format doesn't change anything about pacing and whatnot - but it's worth bearing in mind as a comparison.

I am not really sure where People are getting Freeza is going to die. Why kill him when they literally wished him back to life. Is there even a point to that?

They might as well have just left him dead to begin with

Trust me if we never heard from Freeza again I would be over the moon but I just don’t see them killing him off again at least not so soon

I wonder if Granola will get a transformation specific to his race, sorta like you had super saiyan he'd get super cerelian (is that how you spell it?). But nah if anything he'll get his ass kicked by Frieza but survive, then go back to the dude with 73, steal it and somehow transfer all the data inside of it into himself giving birth to the greatest warrior in the universe.
