Excuse me guys, does anybody knows who is responsible for the cut in which Karifura's turns SSJ2 and saves Kyabe from Keru's blast? I think it was really cool and it happened so fast, in an episode so full of other things, that some people maybe missed its beauty.

I think it has some cool little details like that close-up at the beginning, or the impact frames (it's that the proper term?) that I think Ajay showed us in some Tate's cuts, and that smoke wave at the end. What do you think about it and who do you think made that cut?

It was by Manabe (looks a lot like what he did in 66), and I think exactly like you: Perfect, so much things happens on this cut, it’s impossible to see everything if you’re not watching it frame by frame.

Yeah, that was probably Manabes strongest contribution to the episode in terms of animation. Really dig those impact frames and that exaggerated expression. Though the impact frames being dark green against a black background kind of lessens their visual impact.

These exaggerated reactions like big mouths and wide eyes look like Manabe's work. Why Manabe? Probably, the super long ears and the way the eyes expand.
It would be great seen him delivering something without time constraints.

I think I might've said it earlier, but I'm saying it again just in case I didn't. I'm sorry that I was acting so sure of Karasawa staying before. I should've known better considering super and that a lot of people in this thread know way more than me about animation.
Karasawa coming back makes me giddy though ! I hope he stays for a while .

Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!
I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
KARASAWA IS BACK, FUCK YES!
Staff listings make a whole lot more sense, but Kitano still getting 10 weeks is weird and Manabe, Tate and Karasawa all right before the tournament is also weird, I'm guessing something big will be happening a few episodes into the tournament.
No Yashima is strange as well, but I can see why they might want to hold off on him showing up till 99 or something. They could also be using him in the same way they did in the exhibition.
I swear after 10 weeks of prep time and even teaming up with Nii, if Kitano doesn't give anything half decent at the least, I will be not a happy bunny.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.
