The sound effects this arc have been pretty good. I've not felt a lack of impact in the combat as a whole in this arc, there have even been a few moments where they sit on a blow for a second, mainly in the Gohan VS Lavender fight.

Yea, the sound effects in this arc are definitely an improvement.

Like, If a character punches another character In Super, they immediately just get sent flying. There's no detail half the time in the frames.
There's stuff like that just in the TV show too Goku vs Majin Vegeta, Vegeta vs Kid Buu, etc.

He is talking about Super, not any other series :)

Yes, I know. It's just from the way he worded it, like you couldn't achieve something like that without movie level production. Anyways, I agree Super could use some more flair with the more explosive and painful hits. The sound effects have definitely improved though, like you said. In the BoG and RoF arc, whenever somebody got hit, it sounded like it came from a pinball machine or a game of wack-a-mole.

So the Dr Slump crossover got priorities in corrections over the climax of a major arc? Ugh. :lolno:

So no corrections in episode 72 either?! Fuck...
A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.

I'm curious to see how corrections go in the future, the next box is covering 73-84, and in that the only episode that really "needs" a large amount of corrections would be 76 and that honestly isn't even worth it. If they continue to do corrections for the home releases I hope they just go from episode to episode and fix little things here and there (assuming Super can keep the baseline it's had for 8 episodes now) to polish things up a bit.

I think some parts of the current opening will be changed when the tournament starts.

This was a fine looking episode. The battle between Majin Boo and Goku was decent and the art remained pretty consistent.

A very serviceable outing.

Animation wasn't the greatest for the most part, but the art stayed rather strong for most of the episode and the Pride Trooper action was nice. Over all pretty solid.
NEP looks great, lots of Tate goodness.

I really liked the 2nd half ot the episode. Especially the pride troopers stuff. Consistent art throughout, until one or two scenes in the very end. Also the NEP looks good with Tate goodness.

Damn that starting scene with the Flintstones background looping and the characters staying still......not much animation today.

At least bunny Beerus proved how much of a badass he is and we saw Toppo in a tuxedo......

The new planets looked good.

The most impressive scene was the last 1 sec in the nep

If he was I'm guessing he mainly did 2nd KA or was focused mainly on the non Goku stuff. Guess we'll see in a minute.
