Sooo... what are the chances that Shida shows up for the dragon ball super movie? I feel like since the character design is so simple, it acts like a blank canvas in which anyone can implement their own style

I'd be surprised if Shida doesn't show up on the movie; he's one of Toei's go-to guys when it comes to movie stuff. He's been on almost all their Precure movies and a lot of the One Piece ones.

He confirmed on Twitter back in Feb that they were figuring out a schedule for him. So ya he will be on the movie.

That cut to just Vegeta was awkward (especially since it seemed like Vegeta was on the stage with them) I think Shida just wanted to draw him before DBS ended!

This is what I like to see. Not just fast fists flying but actual fluid movements.

Thanks. I think there was also a tweet with him talking about how he would like to do a 4 minute cut on the movie like he did on a one piece movie.
