7 things the Future Trunks arc has done right so far

6. The whole Trunks and Gohan interaction on episode 52 is the funniest bit of the arc so far as
7. We need to actually explore and not just see 1 random person who the cast could meet anywhere. There has to actually be something special about going to the Universe 10 and not just to see a random Kai to make this a good point.

Mirai Trunks arc has done only 1 thing right as far as i am concerned and that is Black Gokuu. The character is interesting, Nozawa is doing a fantastic job playing him and the writers in every episode so far have surprisingly handled him well.

1: That change already came over him during the Cell arc, I think, but you do have a point in that Vegeta's changed into caring a lot for his family.
2: For now, things are definitely mysterious, and yeah, I agree that it's a good thing. Goku Black's secrets might be revealed kinda soon, but we'll see.
3: Absolutely. While the Pilaf gang gags are unnecessary and only really serve to stall, we're not rushing anymore, and that's really nice to see.
4: The music's definitely improved. My only complaint is adding the Yoka Yoka Dance ending to an arc like this.
5: Continuity is always good. Hopefully they'll show that Bulma's able to redirect the time machine to Future Trunks' timeline instead of Cell's timeline.
6: Looking forward to the Future Trunks and 18 episode coming up this week, too. It's nice to see character interaction! I just wish Future Trunks could meet Bulla. She'd probably blow his mind.
7: I really hope that we're going to visit many universes before we get to the omniverse tournament. Not necessarily all twelve, but a good portion. Going to meet Zamasu is a good start.

1. We've seen this change for quite a while now, so it really doesn't... count?

2. Agreed, even with all the hints pointing at Zamasu it seems there's still a lot we don't know.

3. Agreed, it's been moving at a nice pace, hopefully we'll see it last longer than 12-14 episodes.

Honestly, my only major complaint with this arc so far is the screen time that Pilaf Gang are having.
They are everywhere, they are not funny, and sometimes all they can do is ruin the mood like here.

The Pilaf Gang have overstayed their welcome. In DBZ they weren't even in it, and I liked it that way. I don't mind seeing them every now and then in Super but their screentime leaves me scratching my head.

I mean I understand they want a more comedic story but Pilaf and his crownies just aren't funny at all.
