Reason why Zamasu may or not be be Black

I don't know if there can be a lot to be discussed but remember one reason Zamasu cannot or may not be Black:

Black could not sense ki a year ago

Black wants to destroy humanity.
Zamasu (currently) questions whether or not they are worth saving.

I see this as Black wanting to know more about the body he's in to become stronger, and not exactly respecting him.

If you're going to throw spoilers out in thread titles, do it in the Super section. Don't do it in an general section to discuss the rest of the franchise. Not all of us are pirating the show, and would rather see it for ourselves than have every plot point shouted at us in the thread titles.

Maybe he learned some of his story and thats why he took his body.

Sure, but that doesn't mean it's Zamasu. Personally, I think it's Gowasu, the earrings are the same; maybe he'll adopt Zamasu's views somehow. Plus, he doesn't have a character sheet like Zamasu and Black have.

I'm still not entirely sold on the possible Gowasu/Goku Black connection. Either way, I'm sensing a big old plot twist.

Definitely leaning towards Zamasu being the creator of Black. Zamasu might kill Gowasu and use his earring for Black.

One thing that bothers me is that in his fight with Goku when he goes SSJ/SSJ2 (whatever we decided it was) Black says "A Super Saiyan Huh?"

This is a strange sort of comment to me...makes me wonder if Trunks ever stated he was a Super Saiyan (Am I forgetting this?). I know he WENT Super Saiyan against Black but I mean actually stating the name. It makes it sound like he doesn't know Goku very well even though he knew him by name.

Zamasu and Black have the same opinion on mortals, one is more extreme than the other, but they have the same way of thinking.
Black acts like he's never met Goku, even though he's using his body.

Their personalities are different.

Black is a sadistic jerkass who takes pleasure from his own pain since it makes him stronger. He also takes the time to slowly wiped out the people of Earth instead of pulling a Super Buu and wiping them out with seekers. Black also comes off as mentally unstable given how he can go from calm and even playful, to batshit insane and is prone to slasher smiles.

Zamasu is calm, but he show irritation much faster than Black. He hates the idea of mortals even touching him, while Black doesn't care. He is also not sadistic, nor does he enjoy his own pain. He also doesn't seem to like to fight, given how he kept turning Goku down, while Black is very eager for battle.

And some other points. Black comes off like he never met Goku before and is happy to see the power of Super Saiyan Goku. Zamasu is shocked and is mad that Goku overpowered him since he's just a mortal. They're fighting styles are also different. Zamasu is someone who repels and then attacks, while Black is much more aggressive and passionate when he fights.
