No. People in Europe have to use Daisuki instead.

Wonder if it's because I tested it on a 10mbit line that I didn't get to stream in more than 480p?

You can make an account to get HD resolutions, that's how I did it anyway.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

It's good to know DBS crashed Crunchyroll. You are never prepared for this fanbase. :P

-Watched on Daisuki-

The use of dub terms pisses me off. Unfortunately, that is something that will plague this franchise until the very end.
Didn't like the lack of "-" when using japanese honorifics.

And it looks like they went with "Mortals" for Goku and the others, even though Gods in DB aren't immortal and that's why Zamasu is titled the Immortal God...

DT is still the better group.

Other than that, seems okay and it's legal.

Shout out to DT for their brilliant job. 2015/2016 - Never forget.
Thanks guys!

So for Daisuki I don't have to pay a subscription at all? It's all there right?

Sweet

Yeah sadly the old Dub names and spellings are here to stay the one thing that cannot be erased from the old days it seems.

It's weird watching a Japanese DB episode with the words Supreme Kai

On the Crunchyroll app on my phone, there is a section called "Popular" which has the most popular shows. DBS was right next to Naruto and One Piece on the top row.

It's more a problem of DBZ having weird definitions of mortality,
As with most words. Mortal has more than one definition.
This is why I'm not weebing out about it.

This is how it is as a noun, and I'd say it's pretty fitting in context, it's not that big of a deal.
Other than that, them being called "Supreme Kai" isn't really that big of a deal.

Does anyone think they're doing this now because the quality is goig to be consistently good to show internationally ? what I mean is do you think the majority of episodes will be as good as the last few ?
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I think he means "not lamenting". Like "not weeping about it".

I interpreted it as 'not getting too hung up on the literal meaning of the Japanese word'.

Okay, yes. That is likely as well.

So this week they put up episodes 1-10 with official subtitles, and I decided to check which version of episode 5 they got...

It's the Blu-ray version, thankfully. I guess Toei wants people to forget that the broadcast version ever happened.

How are the subs on the earlier episodes? And are they available on daisuki?

I literally only skimmed that one episode to check which version it was, I'm not gonna go over the subtitles with a fine comb to check whether they're good or not. I would assume they're on par with what they're now providing for the new episodes.

Okay, I did check one part, simply because a certain rather egregrious fansub mistranslation has apparently made it into certain official dubs and so I wanted to make sure that these subs didn't make that same stupid mistake...

They did not. (Some fansubs had Goku claiming that Super Saiyan 2's punches could shatter through dimensions or some stupid nonsense like that.)

And yes, they are available on Daisuki. Sadly I could not get them from there as the site refuses to load videos for me at all...
