Yes, Daman is plan B
What I'm wondering is just how much voice work did Daman do for the last two episodes of this arc

Next time keep the cat in the bag
I wonder why they didn't have Greg Ayres to voice freeza
#1 - I didn't take it out of the bag, Funi did.

#2 - Because Greg can't do the Freeza voice as well as Daman Mills. Greg is voicing Frost.

Interesting, I assume that we will probably hear more of him in FighterZ next year

No parody actors for a serious dub, besides that Mills sounds like Ayres, Kuriboh does not.

Alter the pitch a bit, & yeah, he DOES.
Only dubs that matter are DB, Kai, & Super. Nothing else.

I did make one. I was the one who made it public right after he did. Was on the channel weeks ago.

But he SPECIFICALLY asked us NOT to do a gofund me or any of that, so that wasn't mentioned. I just asked for support and prayers.

Are there any clips to prove this, because all I've heard is his Freeza sounding to cartoony and british.

The Funi dub handled Goku getting shot waaay better here. In the original version it abruptly cuts half way through Goku's dialogue and it's dead silent. It was so awkward. Here though, they added an echo to Goku's voice when he's cut off so it is much better. Does not feel awkward at all.

Just judging by what I heard in this episode, Daman Mills does a really good job at recreating Ayers' Freeza. Really do hope Ayers gets well soon. Wishing for all the best for him.

The first half of the episode looked great. Some of Tate'e best work!
The dub again phenomenal, Mills thing was kinda jarring between I see what people mean by that the voice is self is fine no problems if (and it seems likely) Ayres doesn't come back then Mills with some tweaking to make it his own would be a fine Freeza.

Definitely buying this arc on BD support what could be Ayres last bit of work as Freeza. Hope he gets better!

The blue rays fixes really did fix this episode.. It looks very different from the original run!! a lot of the weird shots were fixed and of course, the dub knocking it out of the park!!

The dub really improved for this episode.. It sounded a lot more like the final chapters dub..

I may be in the minority here, but I think that Daman Mills' Freeza is just meh. It was jarring within the episode to go from The amazing Chris Ayres to the meh Daman Mills. As far as soundalikes go he's OK, but not as good as Alexis Tipton is as Trunks. There is a personal reason though why I don't like him. He is very notorious in the Pokémon fan base for being very rude to people who don't like the current English dub and will attack anyone who doesn't like his BFF Michele Knotz as Jessie. Yes I know separate the person from the art, but this is one of the few times where I can't. I really hope Chris Ayres gets better soon so we can hear him in the Universal Survival arc otherwise Daman will have to really fine-tune the voice in order to please people who like Chris Ayres. To me the only thing he has going for him is that at least it isn't Linda Young again.

I didn't really notice any fixes. The episode looked ok but kind of fell apart at the end. If they just fixed a few scenes in the last couple minutes the episode would be passable.

Sounds like petty pointless drama to me, IMO your opinion on him holds no weight because of this. I love Chris as Freeza and wish he would stay but I am also very impressed with what little I've head from Mills. I feel assured that the role is in good hands.

I don't blame him/her thinking there was, I was stunned myself! Looked so much better than what I remembered!

I have the right to have that opinion though. He's really not a nice person from what I've heard. He will never be Chris Ayres to me or Ryusei Nakao for that matter.

You do have a right, just as I have a right to call you out on it. To me your opinion is biased, judging someone based on there personal life rather than there work/talent.
That is petty and pointless to me, being a passionate fan is one thing, but that high school level drama should be left out of it.
