We will be getting more of Ribrianne in Episode 107-108 coming next week, those are the know latest apperances of her happening.

Indeed I am glad you are liking her character and finding her fun cause that is a BIG part of her character, having fun and being funny at times and that is good to have in a character! I think her base form looks like a Cross Between Sailor Neptune's Hair and the Pink outfit is like a homage to all the Precure's Leaders who have pink as their main color in their looks, Love that!

It is good to give a character time to develop in your eyes, hope she succeeds in what you hope from her going forward. 8)

Not really a fan.

I mean, I dig her design (pre and post) but I really cringed with this whole long-assed transformation sequence that 17 prolonged (though truth be told, Goku and Toppo are to blame for that). But she needs to be her own thing rather than a cheap shot at the Sailors.

My opinion, any way.

Like roshi slipping on his anti women training... They have been hinting at this. I think it will happen with brianna... Hopefully not in chubby mode. Could we respect chubby chaser roshi?! >< Or is brianna a different character. I'm not entirely sure which one she is.

Roshi: Sorry, Bulma! The heart wants what the heart wants.
Vegeta: .... You better hope you don't get eliminated!

And that is then our motivation for roshi to last so long in the tournament! It suddenly makes sense. Or somewhere in there suddenly vegeta is very occupied with trying to kick Roshi's you know what and gets eliminated in the process from someone attacking him or magically Roshi outsmarting him....

Roshi turning out to deep down be a chubby chaser would be a solid twist.

It is good to hear your opinion and thanks for sharing you concerns over about Ribrianne and the Girls Nickolaidas, makes sense. :)

Honestly while I have shown my fandom for the Girls for a good while now, I also went threw times leading up from Episode 91-102 think about if they where Serious Characters or Not, are they a as you said a cheap shot at the Sailor Moon and Magical Girls Franchise many of us Love and Admire. Honestly I REALLY thought about it and gave it the time to show me if they where Serious or a cheap shot ~~~~~~ Honestly Why they do Deconstruct some ideals of the Magical Girl Formula, that is not in a Bad Way or a Mean way.

We HAVE to Remember this is Dragon Ball, where over the top stylizations of other styles of characters have come in and give some over-silly but at the same time as time went on respectful Original takes on them. I see Ribrianne and the Girls as really How Magical Girls would be in a Dragon Ball Mythos. I don't think the Company Toei that Build the House that is the Magical Girl Franchises like Sailor Moon and Precure would make Versions of Magical Girls for Dragon Ball that were mean and nasty swipes at their own product.

They have fun with it but not nasty fun. It is Dragon Ball Fun that leads to Deep Character Discovery and Development as time goes on. We are just use to knowing about these Developments with Dragon Ball Characters we know cause we already went threw their developments, These Girls along with many others are just taking their 1st steps, we need to give them a chance to show us what they got like we did with other Dragon Ball characters over the years.

Again this is My View and Not taking opposition to any other view, just a form of helping out a fellow fan figure these Girls, Especially Ribrianne out with what I have seen and using my Long-Developing Fandoms in many Different Areas of Pop Culture and Fiction.

I hope it helps, but in the end to each their own, Respect, Honor and Peace to Each!

I'm not saying it's good or bad. It's simply an approach that doesn't sit well with me. Legitimate fighting female characters in Dragon Ball are a drop in the ocean, so if they're going to make any, they better make them good. Something more than simple gag characters. Although, truth be told, her two friends were serious enough.

I honestly have seen more then a gag character in her and really do feel that even being silly at times does not mean you can't be a good, serious or cool fighter, just look at Goku and how Dragon Ball was.

Again that is ok if you are not certain yet or you may never be, their is nothing wrong with that. :)

My posts are just to help you and others see Ribrianne from a different point-of-view to help her gain positively in your eyes if I can do that. If you end up still not convinced, that is ok, we just end up going different ways to our different favorites, that is how it works in Large Multi-Character Franchises!

Just for me and Me trying to share my view of Ribrianne, Their is allot more special to her may get overlooked. Ribrianne IMO is a Legitimate Female Force and will prove more as the story goes on, just have to give her time to prove it, but for me I have seen and felt enough with her to easily leaned my support and fandom to her and help others see that as well.

That is all I am trying to do. ;)

She's pretty fun, i enjoyed her introductory scene a lot, it was a fun play on magical girl tropes. I don't watch that stuff, but I know a piss-take when i see it, and hats off to them.

I'm a little let down by her performance in the tournament itself though. That's not to say it was bad, I've enjoyed a lot her scenes in it. It's just that when Universe 6 and 7 kept mounting up wins, she was my last hope of a prominent fighter who could pose a threat besides Jiren or Toppo. And while her fights with Vegeta and 17 were enjoyable, I really wish she'd ringed one of them out. Preferably 17, he'd already had his moment in the sun.

There's still hope, but the previews make it sounds like she'll be caught in the middle of Goku vs Jiren, which doesn't bode super well for her. It'll be a huge loss when Jimeze goes, he's the real star of Universe 2 for me. I've already taken to calling him "The Yardrat your Yardrat could smell like". And if you think that's a dated reference, tell it to Champa's vuvuzela.

Nice Post Kataphrut!

Honestly, I still say lets wait and see, I think we are overly Judging her before he conclusion even happens.

Again she has only had an episode and a half premiere and already shown to be an a Very Huge Power Level. I know the Hype with Goku vs. Jiren seems like it may swipe away many but by the framework and research I have done with the HYPE and Yes TOEI has Hype Around Ribrianne as well, Ribrianne is More then Meets most of Our Eyes I believe.

She is being Pushed early in the Dragon Ball Heroes Game and is on the Cover of V-Jump and seems to be the one most promoted before many other fighters, just watch the whole video below;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygMKbAmvLTg&t=5s

When You have something like that with other Major Characters many believe are Major Like Toppo, Caulifla and Kale, their can be a good argument put forward, one that I am doing now, that she is a Character Toei wants you to know and I believe this will reflect in the show going forward. You don't Promote a character like that and then KO them before 30 other fighters who are not getting that promotion, many of them new.

Again the Previews just give us Goku/Jiren, Goku/Jiren, Goku/Jiren, Goku/Jiren and that is all we know, until they happen we cannot say for certain what will happen with Ribrianne or for that matter Jimeze, but Jimeze is the Tuxedo Mask to Ribrianne's Sailor Moon, so their is hope for him too, but I need more to see to know for more certain like I do for Ribrianne.

Like I keep saying and Believing and Giving Evidance to, their is Much More to see from Ribrianne then we give her credit for and we just need to give Toei Time to Tell here story ~~~~ THEIR IS Much more Happening in the ToP then Goku/Jiren, Goku/Jiren, Goku/Jiren, Goku/Jiren! Ribrianne has the Best chance of being one of those much mores!

Also, I think while her she has a Good Parody do her and semi-de-construction to the Magical Girl Themes, their is allot of Respects to those Characters in her as well and I don't see her as some Mean Swipe at Magical Girls, just a Semi-Funny yet Unique way of Dragon Ball Style Magical Girls that fit into their Mythos! ;)

I wish she was stronger than Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta. I think it would be funny and something different to see him truly struggle against Ribrianne.

Thanks, I mostly agree with your review about Kakunsa and I think prefer Ribrianne too, but by so little. Ribrianne is so funny, she's great. Kakunsa's design is one of my favourites from all the new fighters and her fighting style, this savage side of her like wolverine, I loved it. They are definitely very strong, not sure exactly where they are, guessing I'd say Ribrianne is about SS3 or more and Kakunsa around SS2.

By the way, it's good to have some positive vibes in the forum for a change, like the power of love the Kamikaze Fireballs brought to DB.

Glad that my Posts come off very positive cause that is how I feel. Yea their are always Problems and Doubts about things but that is the Human Condition, when something I find enjoyable to whatever level I enjoy it and things I really enjoy I try to become Knowledge in and then share my viewpoints on those subjects to better promote and expand them to say as here as an example "Hey, Ribrianna is a Pretty Amazing Character and Here is Why She is So Important to a Fan like Me" with Link below! ;)

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=38679&start=40#p1377191

So Yea, this character has hit me on so many levels, yea she is new and has allot to go threw in her orign story, but it is Never to Early to Really enjoy a character and so far they are hitting all the Marks right with her for me. The Kamikaze Fireballs are Very Positive Characters and it helps drive me to be positive as well like my other fandoms.

Also, I like the funny stuff she does, it is different yet shows power comes in many forms and make her enjoyable to watch, she has a grace to her in her own unique was and it works. It is not being mean to the Magical Girl Ideals but being its own unique Dragon Ball style way cause less we forget, most of Dragon Ball, espically the original series was very silly and more then many silly moments that made us love these characters. ;)

Indeed it is always great to meet fellow fans that like what you like, it is Nice to know Ribrianna, Kakunsa and Rozie are reaching many Fans and Make those Fans into Fans of them, The Girls, in their own unqie ways. I feel this fandom will keep growing so long as Toei is serious about pushing the Girls, but as of now I believe they are.

Again, keep sharing your views and fandom of the of The Kamikaze Fireballs and others you like, share them with others and you may meet new fans you never thought to meet or make!

Well, I think we may see more of her in the future. But for now, she will be out for some time.

I thought she was okay. She was less a magical girl herself, than being a parody of magical girls.

And she was more OP than I felt was necessary, though that probably doesn't count in the DB world.

My opinion is the character is awful. I feel it is pretty validated when my fiance who loves all things cute and love and pink even can't stand the character. At first she was funny, good gimic, liked the pretty girl to ugly fat blob thing too. Enjoyed the magical girl tribute and the very unique, by dragonball standers, style for fighting. Chance of a good power too... but TOEI wasted it, and her. Absolutely no telling where her power falls, the word love is constantly spewed every sentence or so by her.... it becomes overwhelming. I think I'd have liked her a lot more if she wasn't preposterously cocky despite getting her ass kicked consistently (seriously, I do not understand why TOEI has to write every character who's even weak to be cocky). On top of that, I'd have enjoyed her far more if love wasn't used to the point it started to hurt my ears.

They could have done a lot better with her, but dislike to the fullest.

Overall I liked her, not as much as I should because the anime screwed up.

Her fighting style and techniques were unique, her transformation was on point. The magical girl and idol elements were decently portrayed. Less so the idol bit, since the writers choose to keep her and the characters of her Universe repeating love: it was a verb, a noun, pronoun..., I'm surprised Brianne didn't start "Lo, love?, love, lo-ve" like a Pokemon.

They turned the character into an annoying caricature until this episode, after her true debut. Which made the pay-off, she realizing that being adored isn't true love, have a limited effect. It felt like it was a storyline isolated to one episode, besides the character recurring appearances. The writers failed adding interest or conflict to her views. Once again spouting love for a bunch of episodes isn't how you expose a character, even if that was her whole storyline.

I hope she appears again in the future having learned from this experience. I enjoyed her wacky fighting style and some of the gags.

Ribrianne is ok,while i do like her design and abilities as well her voice but the constant love stuff has gotten really annoying and she isn't really that impressive as a fighter despite the GoD hyping her up in the show.
However ep 117 made me like this character a bit more specifically the scene where she finally realize that there's more to love than the love she constantly preaching about and she accept her defeat like a champ that is some development she has, something that Jiren is lack of.
Overall she is an ok character and I hope she appear again in the future so that she could finally learn what the real meaning of love and maybe have a new form.

She overkilled the word "love". That's pretty much it. Her personality is what you'd expect from a rather sexist writing staff, who always puts female anime characters in boxes.
