At any rate even if this Gohan image is kept (which I hope it will because it looks awesome) I fully expect them to have a completely different background colour so Orange won't be used a second time in a row.
Every previous version seemed to have color based on some detail of the character, so maybe blue like his shirt?

Something like this but bluer:

Should be the same as the movie poster. Collector's edition will probably be something different though.
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula

Not yet. Everywhere i’ve seen has just been using the poster as the placeholder image so far, even the Funimation Store. The poster image will probably end up being used for the cover art anyway, same as BOG and RF. No word on a Collector’s Edition yet. Just the normal BD/DVD/Digital listed on Funimation as of now.

Looks like this will be the UI Goku art then for FUNi's final BD (taken from International 2019 Calendar):
Also assume that #17 art will be used on the next set.

UK if we're doing different art then Gohan could be replaced by anyone of these I guess.

When promoting the special FUNi had UI "Omen" art will probably be that then for the BD cover covering those episodes.

I wouldn't mind if at some point they used something like that on the Blu-Ray covers. Just more characters. I like the current simplicity, but those Z Blu-Ray remasters had some neat covers.

I'd assume the "Season collections" would do that since that's what FUNi did/do for Fairy Tail save all the group shots for the collection re-releases but we still haven't had any solicited for DBS which is odd. I guess at this point to not expect them anymore for DBS.

Would you please keep that thing off this thread? This is taking over the entire forum at this point.

This forum is so over-dramatic that it's not even funny.

So part 8 will probably be announced by the end of the month or first week of May, with a release date of around July. Think its safe to say we will get up to part 9 this year with the final part 10 releasing within the first couple months of 2020.
DB, Z, and GT subbed are my "canon".

Hopefully they won't take too long to release the collections once part 10 is out.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

For real this feels like it’s taking forever. Many times I was like, “Maybe i should just pick these up” and remember how spoiled I’ve been by the seasons of Z and Kai BRs. 13 episodes feel like a ripoff for some reason.

13 is a bit low for me as well. I also want Super to be consistant with the rest of my anime which I own in collections of 20+ episodes (DB included).

Is it appropriate to mention here Chris Ayers has been confirmed to return as Freeza for the home release?

It sure is awesome that they are allowing him to do that! And also here is part 8's art (July 2). Jiren for part 9 and MUI Goku Part 10?
