Will it be called episode 109 but be a double length episode, will it be both episodes 109 and 110, will it be its own thing (i.e. the episode order goes 108, Special, 109, 110, 111, 112, etc.) or will it do something else? I'm not clear on this.

The first episode will stream the same time that Dragon Ball Super normally streams on crunchyroll, which I think is around 9:15 PM EST, and the second episode should be available shortly after, whatever time One Piece would normally start streaming.

I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, but what was so "special" about the special to have such a hype, if it's just 2 episodes in a row? They recently had two (non consecutive) weeks without an episode, so this just feels like catching up.

I think the special was just nurato. The thing we had to wait to watch because of. I think these are just the normal episodes. Unless they just happen to represent a particularly important point in the story.
