To me a no-brainer for #1 is 109-110, I'll think of the others once I get enough time to rewatch everything and note which episodes in particular gather my thoughts lol

I couldn't do it in order but in general by 10 favourite would be.

1. The episode where Super Saiyan Goku fights Beerus
2. The episode Goku uses Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken x10 against Hit
3. The first episode of the Future Trunks saga
4. The episode where Goku, Vegeta and Trunks go back into the future for the first time
5. The episode following that one where Goku and Trunks fight against Black and Zamasu
6. The episode with Super Saiyan Blue Vegito
7. The episode where Goku fights Ultimate Gohan
8. The episode where Hit fights Dyspo
9. The first episode in the two part special
10. The second episode in the two part special

Well for me, despite the hate it gets, I've been enjoying the ToP quite a bit, far more than any Saga in Super, Half of DB, and more than the Androids/Cell Saga. I loved 104, 105, 107, 109, 110, 111, and 114. I liked 98, 99, 100, 103, 108, 112, and 113. I was meh on 97 and 102. I disliked 106.

Absolutely I love this episode to pieces.


I will also say episode 83 when Bra was born was an important episode to me because it was the episode that got me back into the franchise. I only meant to watch that but one thing lead to another and here I am.

I also love the first episode with Vegeta and Cabba in the U6 tournament


Have to go back and think of the rest. There are several in the Future Trunks saga but I remember moments more than the actual episodes.

Top 10 is a little much, but I'll try. I'll only give out an explanation for my number one favorite, though.

Episode 56 is special to me. This is everything that I love about this series put into a single episode. There's the sense of urgency when they see the remaining survivors, showcase of character development with Vegeta, goofy gags scenes when Goku and Vegeta do rock paper scissors, great villain moments with Black and Future Zamasu, grand transformations with Rosé, nice fight scenes overall, and the heavy tension during the ending. It checks off every list for me. It's a legit 10/10.

[Saikyo no Senshi]

I only like 4 episodes in the show so far.

1) #75. No contest. Nakamura Ryouta delivered his strongest work on the series and showed how to make a character interesting even if it was for just an episode. Kuririn's self doubt and resolve was conveyed beautifully. Props to Sato Miyuki for her spectacular backgrounds. The show has yet to top this as far as I'm concerned.

2) #86. I like atmospheric stuff. And, this is another episode that makes fantastic use of that. Lee's gorgeous backgrounds combined with Tate's supervision and his nice execution of the SB makes for an overall well done episode. Gokuu and #17 interactions were fun.

3) #107. I cared for Frost. What a miracle. Again, Nakamura Ryouta. But this time with a restrained yet still solid SB by Nagamine and uncredited direction by youngster Ishitani that made for some good character stuff. Ishitani was supervised by Nakamura and well I could totally tell that by the atmosphere which is Nakamura's forte. Solid episode and first in the tournament that caught my eye.

4) TVSP. I count them as one. Action was solid and Tate once again knocked it out of the park. Onishi as well. Yeah, it was fun. Not much to say other than that. If the setting wasn't godawful I would be praising it a little more.

#3- Episode 70; F U N, this is what Dragon Ball is all about!
#4- Episode 65; Sense of real scope and scale, seeing Vegeta and Goku work together and the father son Galick gun too!
#5- Episodes 71-72; So much atmosphere in this mini arc, subtle development and world building and made Hit not that boring.
#6- Episode 107; Best directed episode so far, so good.
#7- Episode 56; Really demonstrated how a force Black was, from the shock of Vegeta getting stabbed.
#8- Episode 66; Vegetto Blue, and Trunks getting the what seemed at the time kill, plus seeing Zamasu literally melt.
#9- Episode 18; This episode was hilarious! Set the set up for the Freeza arc perfectly!
#10- Episode 31; Best episode of the entire arc, Bulma and Jaco shenanigans <3.
