I am loving these new designs. I'm getting Android arc flashbacks. The colour for the hair is perfect. This is sooo good.

It really reminds me of how they use to color Super Saiyan in the Freeza Saga as well. I never understood how it became more brighter in the Buu saga.

The SSJ haircolor changed constantly in the anime. One episode its piss-yellow in another its white-blond.

It wasn't really a per-episode thing (some animators might not have followed the color sheets accurately all the time though). The general rule of thumb was if a character wasn't glowing, it was a bleached blond, and if they had an aura, it was a darker, more saturated yellow/gold (except for Super Saiyan 3, which is always very yellow).



That Super Saiyan Goku art looks incredible though. The muscles in the first piece of art were a tad rounded and bubbly for my tastes, but they look a tad more rigid here. I love that they brought back the classic belt, and I hope to see Super Saiyan 3 Goku with that outfit at some point.

Really hope this is the new norm, and Yamamuro never makes character designs for Dragon Ball ever again.

Looks beautiful! Other than that, a bit too little to go off of. I like the arctic setting, but we can't be sure that's accurate to the movie.

Anyway, it's good we have some footage this early. It bodes well for the production, even if it's not necessarily from the actual movie.

Goku's facial features are a little on the cutsier side what with his nose being place much higher and everything. It'll take some getting used to, but he does look much younger.

One was sacrificed at the expense of the other. If I had to choose, I'd stick to approach they took to the last two movies.

This is my best kind of trailer, it shows you so little yet give you so much to talk and speculate about.

What I'm wondering is this new guy from U7, U6 or somehow got here form the past ? Either way, I can't wait for next week's episode as we might get something more to go on.

The art style doesn't look as shiny as super and the last 2 movies which is good. It also looks like the movement is going to flow a lot better. Goku's character design seems a bit off but that's about it so hopefully it'll look better as we get closer to release.

One major thing worth bringing up is that it doesn't look like it's set after EOZ which means Super isn't going there next week as this takes place after.

According to this AnimeNewsNetwork article, the film's producer Norihiro Hayashida said that the staff is aiming for a global release on December 14.
