What is weird about the trailer is not the art style itself, but the way Goku is acting. He's so happy and excited doing all these poses and moves while this new opponent is seemingly so angry lol

This most likely isn't from the movie as the last 2 movies teasers weren't. He may have been acting like that to show the way the animation moves as it's a new style.

Damn wasn't expecting a teaser for the movie until Super was finished so this is a nice surprise. Loving what was shown so far and I'll take a wild guess that the person Goku is fighting is Yamoshi. At the very least wether this is Yamoshi or a new character it atleast means that Freeza won't be playing the role of the villain in this movie.

The teaser reminds me a lot of the Pokemon animation shift to Sun/Moon's designs. Somewhat more simple but the animation looks more fluid. I take that over the sometimes choppy Super animation.

Not familiar with Pokémon for years, but after a quick search, I'm not sure how that's a positive. It looks cheap.

About the teaser, well... It's certainly better than Movie 15's deceitful first teaser and on par with Movie 14's first teaser (that still gives me chill!). If the movie is about the Saiyans, then clearly the opponent should be a Saiyan too, fitting.

But please... DON'T BE A GOKU MOVIE YET AND YET AGAIN! Show me more of the past of the Saiyans, show the Saiyans of the past, specially and specifically Gine, King Vegeta, Raditz, Vegeta, Bardock.

I like the Pokémon Sun and Moon style after a while. I think it works with Dragon Ball as well.

It looked similar to Liquir in the close-up (the god of destruction) but his face seems to be Saiyan-esque.

It definitely looks like a Saiyan. Black hair but their eyes are yellow/orange.

I'm sick of evil Saiyans. It seems like Goku is fighting one in the teaser. I hope they can pull off a new evil Saiyan without rehashing Broli, Vegeta and Radditz.

Animation from the teaser I watched looks pure gold and epic! Although I gave it 10/10, this bad boy pays homage to the animation styles that was seen from 1986 to 1996.
