Could Vegetto have stayed fused after Zamasu?

Post by Fizzer » Wed Aug 22, 2018 4:02 am

Back in the Buu arc, the explanation for Vegetto defusing was that it was something to do with being absorbed by Buu. In the Zamasu arc, this was changed to a time limit, and I'm well aware that some people like that and some people don't.

Do you think it would have worked at all if Vegetto had then stuck around, until being defused with the Dragon Balls or even for the duration of the Tournament of Power?

If he'd stayed until after the tournament, it would have freed up a spot for Buu and we might have had more fun with that whole Goku-going-off-the-rails-and-seemingly-putting-the-universe-in-danger thing because Vegetto is immature, arrogant and unpredictable.

Actually, did Vegetto have the King of All Button in his pockets? Or did it disappear with the fusion (since his clothes are different from Goku's)? Because if it's the latter, then they would all be screwed after Fused Zamasu's immortal soul merged with the very fabric of the cosmos and transcended time and space. Who would call Grand Zeno then?

He should've as we already know the dragon balls can defuse people like what kibitoKai did earlier so there was no reason to retcon something that was easily fixable.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
