Question about Blurays

Post by SheonGT » Sat Dec 22, 2018 10:45 pm

Does anyone else notice the difference in audio mixing (on the Funimation home video releases) between the English and Japanese audio tracks? The Japanese track has way louder music than when I switch it to the English and it’s way muffled.

I experienced an inverse effect on the DBZ Season Sets where the mono Japanese audio was quieter overall.

Am I losing my mind guys

Audio inconsistencies aren't uncommon in Dragon Ball unfortunately. Especially since Funimation generally insists on making their own 5.1 mixes.

I noticed this last night watching the new FUNi blu ray. The voices we're low-ish so I turned it up, then a battle would start and rattle the TV stand haha. Had to keep the remote close by.
