I'm watching Super again after a while, 5 episodes at once.
I found the serie a bit more engaging this time, forgetting everything I knew from DBZ tension, and I had to say it work very fine as a light hearted shonen.
It's obviously aimed to kids that doesn't care a lot for subtle plots or strict coherence - but it succeed fine into that.
I mean, probably a lot of people seemed to expect a different show while simulcasted, to me DB wasn't exactly an acccurate shonen since the start and I begin to appreciate how the product in fact is parting from the dramatical (often "forced") tones and themes.
I own a lot of dramatical show to follow, DBS seems to volountarily aim to defuse such tension and so represent a legit alternative.
That second watching was more enjoyable, to me.
Did that happen to someone else?
