I think its quite high honestly. It seems Toei and Toriyama really love super saiyan, it is the most marketable form after all. However its like how'd you do it ya know, its possible that if they go this route of progression they'll explain it as Goku having mastered the calmness and precision of MUI and merged it with the Power and Ferocity of Super Saiyan resulting in Super Ultra Instinct.
But in terms of transformations (unless they make this Goku's actual final form like 'there is no way to go above this' sorta thing) it would actually go past being funny to being more like "seriously another one".

I'd rather they stop at Ultra Instinct, maybe add KaioKen to it as a sort of Burst Power up that Goku uses only in the most dire situations. This is if they go past Ultra Instinct in any way shape or form.

It's very likely this will happen.
SuperSayan is not even a technique, but a special physical power of sayans.
The only hard thing is to combine the mind status required to trigger both, but is quite possible.

ANYWAY, I'd like for it to be just not a recolor, but a change in shape, paired with some serious drawback (like you should stop after a while or you DIE or become TAINTED BY EVIL FURY or some actual consequence).
I learned english listening to songs. So I don't know anything about. The day you had to learn play piano by just listening .mp3, you'll understand.

Which mind state is compatible with rage and absence of rage?

Should it happen? Absolutely not.

MUI is supposed to represent *the* ultimate form. There really shouldn't be something greater than what the Angels themselves use, and what even Destroyers aspire to achieve. Granted, you can absolutely increase your power/skill within that form(as evident by the disparity between Angels), but using Saiyan-esque transformations to further 'amp' MUI wouldn't just be stupid as hell, it would also defeat the concept of MUI all together, imo.

That said, if we did end up seeing "Super"MUI at some point, it wouldn't exactly surprise me either.

The fact that Goku has already mastered the form(to the point where he can activate it at will), and knowing there are still arcs to come, lends to theory that he might achieve even greater levels in the future... Sadly.

I'm open to the idea of stronger techniques lying in wait, but that's hopefully a far off eventuality. I think the answer for now is not an arbitrarily stronger form but instead exploring more different, specialised techniques. Side-steps rather than steps forward, if you will. Spirit Control, in how it's been applied so far, is pretty simplistic (and dull, frankly) but it's a step in the right direction. The question is, where else to go? We've had techniques that maximise speed, power, ki manipulation... What else is there?

I hope Vegeta learned more of the weird techniques of the Yardrats such as size manipulation and cloning, not just Relevant Plot Technique/Fission. Considering that he didn't even stay long enough to properly learn teleportation, I have doubts.

EDIT: Scratch that last paragraph, I just remembered that bonus page where Vegeta does all those things, lmao.

Is exactly the definition of Illumination!!! No thinking and no absence of thinking.
No, really, I've noticed only 'cause you've quoted me, I had no idea.

strictly speaking, UI is not properly about "not feeling" but "not being distracted by feelings".
they are thus not properly contradictory.
ESPECIALLY if we add the TINGLING from the anime, making SS a purely biological event unrelated to emotions.

But the fact is, Super Saiyan is "just" about forcing a greater output than usually possible in base.
While, from what we have seen, UI already maximizes the body reactions and abilities.
Thus, Super Saiyan is obsolete.

Now, there might be an argument for Ozaru->Super Saiyan 4 as they add a side-layer of body modification, possibly rising the final potential of the body which MIGHT mean a greater UI power, but that's no more than a hypothesis.
Hell, it's perfectly possible UI already uses that potential.

UI did a good job of distinguishing itself as the opposite of super saiyan in how Goku first achieved the form, but super saiyan use now doesn't seem to rely on anger at all, especially after Goku mastered the form in the cell saga and could use it without any kind of strain. So if they wanted to combine the forms, I don't think it would be too incongruous with what we know of how UI is achieved.

That said, I think it would be too obvious of a path to go down/I wouldn't like it.
