There is compelling evidence.

On that note, I found it interesting to go and look at DBAF and see just how strongly influenced his art style was by Dragon Ball GT generally back then - of course, that could have been a deliberate choice to imitate that style given the material, rather than his stylistic default. It's certainly not as pronounced nowadays, where he seems to use a style that's more recognisably his own.

Worth wondering about, I suppose. Even at the very beginning of Victory Mission, his style is closer to what he now uses on DBS. Though the same is true of AF by its end. Early Victory Mission and very late AF are also leagues better in terms of general art and craft than his early AF chapters as a whole.

Victory Mission also has sort of a separate style from Super through its very end, likely owing to the different approach of its main character designs. When classic DB characters show up through the card summons, they aren't that far off from DBS.

(One thing that I feel strongly was better in Victory Mission was his application of sceentone, which was present but relatively restrained. I think likely having to work with the color-first designs of Super ratcheted its use up, with other elements of the series getting more screentone to match. It leads to a lot of toning in Super, though, and not always in ways I feel are thoughtfully applied in terms of readability and balance. Toning is also pretty limited in AF.)

I'm surprised how these threads are still open.
A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.

What’s up with all these troll threads lately?

I thought the members of Kanzenshuu were above this?

The first thread was a troll thread, then it backfired and became a meme. 'Tis the stuff of legends.

What's wrong with a bit of dumb fun, now and again? So long as it's not harming anyone :P ?

OMG Julie, you beautiful soul, you. We all need to remember the insanely beautiful and epic "I think MRAs are the reason for the overpowered male characters" thread. It is the best thread bar none and no other has come close to it.

This forum is so over-dramatic that it's not even funny.

I think it's time to admit that Toyotaro knows what's in the Hunter Biden laptop, and is using DBS to break it wide open.

My uncle works at Toei and he says Toyotaro is Toriyama's son while Toyble is Toriyama's nephew.
