Hakaishin Beerus Never Having His Life Linked
How much more involved would Hakaishin Beerus have been if his life was never connected in any way with Shin?

The Life Link plot point was really only relevant for the Future Trunks arc, since none of the other villains and antagonist are aware of it. Zamasu knew about the Life Link because he was a God training to become Supreme Kai, but Moro or Granolah wouldn't know about it.
So the Future Trunks arc wouldn't happen because Zamasu just wouldn't be capable of dealing with Beerus. He got rid of him and his angel by killing Supreme Kai for a very precise reason. With Beerus around, he wouldn't be able to execute Project Zero Mortals.
The rest of the show would remain unchanged, since as I said this plot point was only relevant in the Future Trunks arc.
So the Future Trunks arc wouldn't happen because Zamasu just wouldn't be capable of dealing with Beerus. He got rid of him and his angel by killing Supreme Kai for a very precise reason. With Beerus around, he wouldn't be able to execute Project Zero Mortals.
