People keep speculating about either Coola or Janemba (since they are the most popular Z movie villains besides Broly), but with "unexplored territory" I expect something better, maybe the trip to Sadala that Vegeta promissed to Cabba? I don't know... I would take anything in another universe, especially having the opportunity to see characters like the Pride Troopers, Kefla and Hit in action again. I had of enough of this series shoving down in our throats Krillin, Tenshinhan and Yamcha for the sake of nostalgia. Just accept that these characters arc are over and they are no longer useful, may as well this serve to Gohan and Piccolo since they don't get any improvement either.

Ofcourse he beats Frieza.. Frieza sucks! Goku Black is the single best character ever created by Toriyama. He beats anyone.

Please, the only thing good about Black was Nozawa performance, his design? He's just Goku with dark clothes. Was he sucessful? No, failed to kill Vegeta, failed to kill both Goku and Trunks, failed to kill Goku twice. Got his ass beaten by Vegeta, pulled off a scythe out of his ass that was more useful in videogames than in the actual anime and fused with Zamasu to create the most stupid villain design ever: Merged Zamasu (Zamasu with dark Kaioshin clothes and with Super Saiyan White Goku wig).

I don’t mind if they’re like Broly who only shares very basic similarities with OG Broly: like their name, being banished for being too powerful, and having revenge obsess fathers. Super Broly is more Goku if Grandpa Gohan was an abuser than an updated OG Broly.

Are you kidding? Even if Grandpa Gohan as an abuser that wouldn't change a damn thing as Goku builded his power through hard work and not prodigy bullsh*t like Broly and Freeza.

It must be stressed that the major reason Dragon Ball Super looked the way that it did during its original run was because there was literally no pre-production as well not enough good staff available at the time they announced the show. You wanna know what happens when Toei properly plan out a long-running weekly animated TV show? Look at the Wano arc for One Piece.

Oh, I didn't know about that. Thanks for the fact check, it almost makes clear that Dragon Ball Super was a fruit of a happy hour with most important Toei head staff impressed by the RoF movie sellings.

Nice to see the official confirmation.
Interesting we don't have a specific release date yet as M20 had its month and year in its initial announcement. We'll probably get it in a few months. A lot of people were expecting a teaser, but just as the M20 situation, we're probably going to wait a few months, though Jump Festa is a long way from now so hopefully it will be sooner then that. Really praying this movie somehow makes its way with 2D again and looks as gorgeous as Broly was.

Yup, I'm not sure why everyone jumped to another villian being resurrected. It's possible, but whoever it is, it sounds like they will simply make an appearance in battle and not be a main antagonist. My money is on Paikuhan or someone from ToP.

Guess it’s a great time to start speculating now that it’s official.

Things that I wanna see:
- Broly, Cheelai and Lemo returning.
- Some Ultra Instinct action.
- Other universe characters.
- Planet Sadala.
- Include some of the side characters like Krillin, Piccolo, Gohan, Goten and Trunks.
- 2 hour length.
- A story that doesn’t take place in a short period of time. These last few movies all have stories that get dealt with within a day. Make it feel like a Dragon Ball story arc but within a movie format, similar to how One Piece does it with their Film series (Strong World, Z, Gold).
