Whoops, didn't catch last episode. I'm guessing it will end when the first sign of the Androids pops up.

I loved the music in this episode! Also, I loved how they made all of the training segments feel a bit montage-ish, and Vegeta's nightmare scene was handled much better this time around, as in Z it didn't make much sense for him to wake up in shock when he did, but in Kai's version, he woke up after screaming at the fact that he couldn't keep up with Goku and Trunks. Although, I couldn't get the dub line "FATHERRRRRRR!!!" out of my head there...

Ended right about where I thought.
Loved the montage and loved the music.
Some foreshadowing with Vegeta and Bulma was kept, which was also nice.

People always say that DBZ has very long boring parts all over the entire series. I wonder if they think Kai is going a little too fast for them. Personally, I don't mind the fast pacing but this may be so because I already know what's going on and what's going to happen so I don't have to put a second thought in it.

Looking at the next preview episode it seems like they won't get farther than the city but I hope they somehow make it up to Goku's transformation.

I'm going to make a prediction now, Yamucha gets impaled at the Eyecatch and the episode ends just before Goku fights #19.

Although that may be a bit ambitious, there is quite a bit of stuff to cover.
It does seen from the preview they at least get as far as #20/Gero firing his eye lasers at the city though.

The flashback telling how Goku get out of Namek still doesn't make sense.

Vegeta's hair is now brown? They recolored his hair to black in early episodes to have it brown again? What is up with Gohan's Masenko? It looks like he is blocking an attack rather than fire it.

And Vegeta blowing up the machine room/ship is now different (and pretty much is all training). The episode feel much superior than its Z counterpart.

I think we won't get SSJ Goku in next episode..... I think that this episode was cut pretty well and like somebody said, that retcon of Goku's Houdini escape is weird. Few episodes before, he just ran off the ship and went screaming when the planet blown up.

Ah ok, I'm trying to decide which software to use in order to catch the Japanese broadcasts of Dragon Ball Kai. Does Livestation let you record the broadcasts in decent (or moderate) quality?
