There was no need to end the episode with Tenshinhan. They cut out a chunk of the fight between Nr.16 and Cell and if they hadn't they probably could have ended it with Cells transformation.

The episode ended cleanly with the end of #152, though. It makes editing easier.

I just think it's too good of a climactic cliffhanger to NOT end on. The Artificial Humans (FINALLY, but not for very long) moving, Cell being held in place by a truly heroic effort. Tenshinhan barely hanging on. Kai would have been foolish NOT to want to end on that.
