It's the exact same narrator, I just heard him.
And... they kept the "next episode preview" music? c.c

They did indeed Kaiser. >_>KaiserNeko wrote:they kept the "next episode preview" music? c.c
I predict Yushi No Gaiden might have been planned to play after Cell was defeated.
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

That's a relief.KaiserNeko wrote:It's the exact same narrator, I just heard him.
Well, it's just a remix of the closing theme still isn't it? I guess they didn't see the need to replace it since it's a remix of a song they know isn't plagiarized. Isn't the eyecatch music the same too?KaiserNeko wrote:And... they kept the "next episode preview" music? c.c

And the music for the sponsor cards before after the opening and preview?Metalwario64 wrote:Isn't the eyecatch music the same too?
Speaking of those, they didn't list sponsors this time. I wonder why.

The music felt out of place compared to the previous episodes and unsurprisingly some themes started near the middle. Kikuchi's music doesn't fit Kai's pacing very well and was haphazardly placed, it was depressing.
At least the preview music was kept and we got clean audio for the sponsor cards.

Interesting, and there were various other news topics shown throughout the episode, right?Herms wrote:That stuff on the left-hand side and bottom is news on the Fukushima plant.GotenDaisuki wrote:Title Card:

Re: Kai Episode 96 (20th March 2011)
i haven't watch the episode yet but for what I see if even kikuchi fans got mixed feelings I hope I like this... firing yamamoto is the worst thing for Kai, what's new now? OP/ED And some other thingies.... Atleast if they waited until ep 98... this is just freaking terrible, We all have kikuchi for the frigging 200+ eps of Z. now the freaking guy takes over Kai. shucks! I like kikuchi, but I don't ever think of him as a fantastic composer. and yamamoto with all of his rips off atleast gave Kai something brand new.... again I haven't watched this episode I hope they at the very least pick good pieces of music though Nagasaki is ubber mediocre, I'd rather now get Dragon boxes if I can't listen to Yamamoto's great music (even if with mediocre music selection)
Re: Kai Episode 96 (20th March 2011)
That would be the second worst thing, the worst thing being not producing the Buu saga for Kai, assuming it ends at Cell.AoiKageNoChikara wrote: firing yamamoto is the worst thing for Kai,
I like Kikuchi's music a lot and thought it was really good in the Son Goku Returns special, but it doesn't fit so well in Kai and doesn't feel so refreshed.

Too many pieces of music played. It simply needs more silence.

I actually like some of the choices being made over which piece to use where, but they need to stop stuff music in every moment of the show.
I don't think they quite chose the right piece for Cell's final destruction, though.

Right I had forgotten about that horrible decision :S
Yeah, I love Kikuchi's music too (I sound very harsh cuz I'm well... dissapointed LOL but I love Kikuchi's music) But it definitely doesn't appeal to kai's fast pacing.

I thought some of the pieces used in the episode were too soft for the situation at hand.
So mondo lame.
Re: Kai Episode 96 (20th March 2011)
I think the reaction has more to do with the fact that we assume Kai to go fast and this music slows things down and makes you wanna analyze. I just watched episodes 192 to 194 and the music sounds a bit more at place there.
Re: Kai Episode 96 (20th March 2011)
That's what kikuchi's music is in Z. Most of it is all soft.GotenDaisuki wrote:I thought some of the pieces used in the episode were too soft for the situation at hand.

Not all of it, though. Some pieces he composed would have fit in better than the pieces Nagasaki chose.Gotham22 wrote:That's what kikuchi's music is in Z. Most of it is all soft.
