And the million-dollar question is ... why Dr Rota is called Doctor?

Last week was better. Disappointed about Tien but it is what it is. Annoying that Piccolo has to always protect Gohan. The first time he did it back in the Saiyan Saga was powerful but now its overused.

An ok episode. Not a lot to say.

Dr. Rota was a joke character. Alright then,

The sniping thing was pretty cool. They're lucky other fighters have made mountains out of the stage otherwise they'd have been fucked.

If they really wanted to show off Gohan as team leader, then the perfect time would be to have him make all the observations that piccolo made. Instead it was really just having Gohan follow Piccolos lead. Gohan being leader thing better pay off, but there is always that possibility that it just doesn't mean much.

Piccolo really should just use the Dragon Balls and morph himself into a shield that Gohan can just carry around with him. A regenerating shield that yells at you would be a fun item to have.

Goku, Vegeta and Tien just watching Gohan and piccolo run for the hills. If only they brought popcorn.

If blasts don't work, then just chuck rocks! Gotta love the tactics of the Saiyans. If it works, it aint stupid.

Tien did ok. Not as great as I was hoping but he did ok. The entire use of the multi form was cool and all but it was SUPER odd. Why would they all run in a straight line? Why not scatter? Why did one copy jump in front of another to block a shot? Is there a main body to this? because if not, that was just silly. But Tien going down like that was pretty cool.

Dr.Rota is bac- Oh there he goes. Along with Mr sniper targeting system. Blasts shouldn't have worked on him but I guess the implication is that, since Dr.Rota was in front of him, that the blast just hit Rota and the force carried out Mr. Ton of fun? Just my guess anyway. Could just be another case of bending the rules. Would have been funnier if Goku just chucked the rock he was already holding to knock them out.

Next Episode looks pretty nuts. I'm excited for Frost and especially Ma Boi Magetta!

This was a pretty boring ep compared to last week, tho I didnt expect Tien to go out that way, I thought everyone on U7 was gonna get their screentime before going out.
I knew Piccolo was gonna protect Gohan again, this is why I wanted them to go their seperate ways.
Piccolo's in a bad shape now, they foreshadowed him regenerating drains his stamina, as Gohan says, but Roshi's in more of a badshape especially NEP.
The ED elimination lineup may end up being true after all  Vegeta's gotten too many knock outs so far so I feel like he may just be next, Hit may jump out of nowhere next ep and help Frost out, like Vegeta has Frost down, Hit or Freeza pops out of nowhere and knocks Vegeta out of the ring RF2 Frost Ver. 8)
Hopefully Jiren does something NEP, we are a few weeks away from the special and this guy has done nothing but be a bore.

That was really bad. REALLLY bad. You're telling me Gohan and Piccolo were incapable of, if absolutely nothing else, dodging? Where was the Piccolo that fought against Frost and trained Gohan? He could use clones too, and to far greater effect than Tien. You're telling me Goku and Vegeta are going to lob rocks in their base forms like idiots and pretend to be in any way threatened by that jello mold when they could just speed blitz with punches and kicks and just physically hurl the pathetic reflection enemy out of the ring? Hermila must have had some pretty legitimately powerful ki blasts if they can decimate the ring like that so easily, but, I don't know, there's no reason, at a minimum, Gohan couldn't match him blast for blast, stopping those sniper shots by exploding them with his own.

So not only was the action boring and bad, all of the characters in the episode put in just wretched performances, and there was absolutely no logic to the writing. Yes, it was definitely one of the worst episodes of the tournament and of the series. That Tien was eliminated like this just adds insult to injury for Tien fans.

comeso GmbH can suck it. Anyways...

-Dr. Rota was a gag character. Was looking forward to him but he did absolutely nothing of worth.
-Prum has a fugly design.
-Piccolo nannying Gohan once again. At this point, Piccolo is Gohan's green meat shield, and his arms are more useful for getting ripped off than for attacking nowadays. Props to him for using his brains, though.
-Tienshinhan summed up Super as "Don't worry. Goku and Vegeta will take care of the enemy!"
-When Tien is about to take Hermila out, Hermila blowing up the ground beneath them resembled Freeza blowing up the Earth as his last resort against Vegeta.
-Universe 7's signature move: letting their guard down.
-Two of Tienshinhand's clones could have taken Hermila down while the remaining one could have stayed on the arena so the original Tien could have stayed. I'm not sure if the technique could allow to choose which clone becomes the original, though.
-Beerus praising Tenshinhan was nice. He was the one angry cat wanting to destroy the Earth long ago.
-It seems the theory of the current ending giving away the order of who from universe 7 gets eliminated may be true. If Vegeta is the next to go (he took out two this episode and got cocky at the end), then I'm in.
-Freeza shows up for the first time since the Kamikaze Fireballs episode (102) just to sexily pose at the end. At least his twin, Frost, will finally show up again next episode.

I REALLY wish they would stop wasting characters. That's all I have to say about this episode.

I think the whole sniper thing was a great idea, and it's something we rarely see in Dragonball. Would have liked to see Piccolo be the one to save the day, but ah well.

Tenshinhan could have done more, but at least he took the guy down with him. I also admit Goku and Vegeta throwing rocks was pretty funny. This wasn't a bad episode, just rather average.

Yeah I pretty much agree but the slow pace and terrible art makes it worse than average for me.

Also when I thought tien was done without a single good scene... Thank god he at least took someone down with him. Stick to dragon ball tien

Incredibly disappointing after last weeks episode.
105 made me care about a character whom I hadn't taken seriously since the original Dragon Ball.
Why couldn't Tien have had the same treatment? Sure, he did some cool stuff, but he's still just a throwaway character. Shame to see one of Dragon Ball's best being tossed aside like he was nothing.

Piccolo babying Gohan was annoying. Isn't Gohan an adult now? He isn't some 4-year-old who's so scared of fighting that he can't even attack an injured opponent, he's past those years. He should be standing alongside Piccolo. But whatever.
If anything, I'd like to see Gohan take a giant blast for Piccolo. It'd be a nice switch of roles.

If there was any good in this episode, it was the creativity in the fighting. This is the one thing the ToP Arc has over the fights in DBZ. Different, unique powers, strategic approaches to combat, it was all great.

Hopefully he won't protect Gohan again becuase he done it in this episode.

Piccolo seems to be ok and he seemwd to be walking in the still at the end so I think the stamina thing will be forgotten by the next time we see Piccolo.

Vegeta has participated in a lot of eliminations bow so he could be next but what about a Cabba vs Vegeta rematch.

Did anyone notice at the start of the episode it looked like Gohan had taken some damage from Dr Rota? Like, we never got to SEE his gimmick, but he was actually somewhat powerful.

That's commitment to a bit.

At least we know Piccolo is safe in the tournament until he starts fighting those two Nameks from U6. Otherwise I'd be worried that Piccolo had such a poor showing, but he still has time yet.

Good episode. I didn't expect for Tenshinhan to lose because I thought he would take out the two bug warriors from Universe 4.

Very boring. I liked the joke with not knowing Dr. Piggies technique and when Ten took down the sniper with him. Everything else was either dull or dumb. Goku and Vegeta were throwing rocks at the reflect guy, but why couldn't they just rush him? He deflected ki, not physical attacks as far as we can tell. Gohan and Piccolo getting targeted was cool, but they didn't do anything to retaliate. Piccolo lost his arms THREE times. Like, why do his arms keep getting ripped off?

This is the worst episode of the tournament of power so far. Dumb fights, boring stalling, and Piccolo torture porn.

3/10.

My thoughts exactly. I liked the premise of having a more distinctive fight in the tournament, but damn that was dumb writing. Seeing Goku, the guy who uses Instant Transmission to move 2 yards, running towards open fire was just ridiculous.

The stronger guy holding back the weaker one, truly thats something only the leader of U7 could accomplish.
He had to choose whatever he would attack the enemy or be Gohan's meatshield and guess what he has choosen?

Tien did just fine. Taking 2 guys out (including one who had most of his team on the ropes) before being eliminated is much better than half the contestants who've came and went.

If they wanted it to be less dumb, they should've said that the reflect guy could have reflected all types of attacks instead of just ki. And then when the Pig hugged him, they should've shot the Pig to elimate the reflect guy without touching him like they did in the episode. But throwing rocks is apparently the way to go these days. Though I will admit that I thought it was pretty funny that at the end of the episode Goku was just standing there and holding a rock, while Vegeta eliminated the two opponents.
