@ Kaboom

In M7 I think Goku is superior to Vegeta slightly. Think of this as the Imperfect Cell Saga switched basically. Instead of Vegeta being a little stronger, Goku is. When they all power up to Super Saiyan , you will be able to notice that their aura sizes seem to be indicative to strength.

Also, it does appear that 14/15 are pretty much equals with Vegeta / Trunks . And 13 is slightly superior to Goku.

@ Fox

3 hard years of training for Goku warrants an increase of 190-210 ? Seems a bit stingy. I do understand why you do that as you want to keep Trunks the same though.

Shonen nice list . The only thing I blatantly disagree with is Gurd's power level. Vegeta said that he has low power level and is clearly way inferior to Gohan and Kuririn who are both over 10k , but Gurd is drastically inferior even with the ability to stop time.

I don't think Nappa would be considered to have low battle power even at this stage IMO...

I think Gurd being at 5k or below is better personally. His true power is his psychic abilities not his actual ki.

Pretty much like Kaioshin IMO. I don't think Kaioshin's ki is anything special, but his psychic abilities are amazing. Although this isn't blatantly stated , from the various actions I find this to be likely.

Robots do have power levels. They just don't have ki. Ki and power level are not intrinsically linked. They are like squares and rectangles. All ki levels are power levels, but not all power levels are ki levels.

Totally agree. I've argued this point since day one, and representations are crap because I've been repeatedly reminded that scouters are not a scale of a fighters ability, but their raw ki.

I think it's safe to assume that any numbers listed for Androids/robots/whatever are simply intended to represent what their power level would be if that artificial strength was instead natural.

They don't have temperature, but they do have Fahrenheit? Everybody's posting Scouter power levels. Scouters measure ki.

No, robots do not have Ki, but they do have levels of Strength and Power that can be determined wih a guess. Just like most of these power levels are determined with a guess.

You've got your analogy backwards, there. They have a temperature/power level but it's not from ki/fahrenheit, it's celsius/artificial, converted over to match the scale everyone else is using.

And no one is posting 'scouter power levels' because, as far as I know, no one in the real world has a functional scouter, let alone has met any of these characters. What people are posting are numerical representations of a person's strength, based upon the scouter scale system. Saying that you can not represent an artificial being's power with said scale is the same as saying you can't say there are so many drum beats per minute in a song because the drum isn't a heart.

Look, it's really this simple.

I included Android/Robot power levels because I felt the list would be incomplete without them. Full Metal Jacket and Adjutant Black's Battle Jacket were both fights that Gokuu engaged in personally, the latter of which actually gave him some trouble. To leave it out would just feel crude.

Look at their "power levels" as merely being a representation of their overall capabilities in comparison with the other fighters listed, and yes, that IS what power levels are. How many instances in the series have you honestly heard them say: "Oh, his power level is much lower than his opponents, but he's winning BECAUSE HE'S JUST SO MUCH MORE SKILLED!"

That doesn't happen. The higher power level wins almost always, save for a few hax techniques.
