Here's the first half of the Vol. 5 in English! Like I mentioned in a previous post, this translation does come from Japanese > Spanish > English so there may be parts lost in translation but it reads well in conjunction with the previous titles that were translated directly from the Japanese so I really wouldn't worry too much. Young Dijii's art is great but his storytelling is fairly simplistic so don't worry, you're not missing any Shakespeare.

Enjoy and let me know if you spot any errors or have any advice!

Working with my partner to bring the last half in the next few days so please be patient - we left it on a bit of a cliffhanger

Thanks, downloading right now! :D Even if the translation isn't 100% faithful, it's still better than nothing!
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I have officially caught up, and it's decent. I am not too fond of his copying of other artwork into his pages and parts of his story are rip offs of DBZ. It seems to change after Ize is dead.

Hi, in this post you have the vols 1-7 translated into Spanish.

We are working in the 8.
Awesome! Well, if I can convince my partner to keep helping me out then I should be able to get them all done!

I know a lot of people rip on him for tracing a lot of things but to be fair, drawing fight scenes in manga, especially in DBZ, can be a MAJOR pain in the ass. I dont own any of the DB and DBZ manga (much to my shame) so I cant personally notice where he traces but for what it is, the art is pretty damn fantastic. The villains, especially the dragons, look awesome and unique. I do kinda wish he went his own way with SSJ5, maybe his own twist or hell, along the lines of my own design http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Kental-SSJ5-345075324 but other than that, good doujin.

Does anyone have the Spanish volumes in a ZIP? It's killing me having to navigate that shitty imgbox site to do these translations. Would speed up my work flow by a tonne if I had them locally.

If you have a download manager (like Jdownloader) and copy the url of the gallery you can download all the images in that gallery at once.

Het Tomac I was curious, which AF doujin do you prefer? Toyble's, or Young Jijii's?

The truth is that I like both.

Toyble has a style more similar to the anime and the story is interesting, also the character of Broly I really like, the problem with this is that it takes a long time to come out and are being eternal.

Young Jijii has a way of drawing more faithful to the Toriyama, history has improved very much and I like that it's more protagonism to the rest of the characters (instead that all wait for Goku as always). Best thing about this is how quickly that takes the new volumes for what history moves fast.

See, I never cared for Broly myself. I like his LSSJ form, but his character as a whole was just terrible. I mean come on, a baby crying next to you made you insane? I could get the trauma of being stabbed and awakening the power he had at a young age but nope, its a baby crying. That and the fact the games always make him out to be the strongest villain, often having him fight Gogeta or replace the final boss as in Budokai 3. Nightmare Broly didnt help things either. I guess the fandom ruined him for me.

I personally enjoy YJ's version for the reason you do, everyone besides Goku gets a shot to fight and prove themselves. Thought, the reason he can draw so fast is because he traces a lot, but personally I dont mind it as hes tracing from the DBZ manga instead of tracing off another series work. I also kinda dont like he went with the white hair and fur design of SSJ5 that everyone knows. Granted he makes it look amazing, but I wish he could have separated himself from Toyble and made his own design like I did.

Heres another question, if you could redesign SSJ5, how would you do it? Heres my own version if your interested http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Kental-SSJ5-345075324

I also got a topic in the fan created section regarding villains from both doujins facing each other, would like your imput if youd like. Keep up the awesome work with the scans, just got Volume 9 from you and again the quality was great.

Hello, of course, that you can translate and share the Doujinshis in China.

I just scan in order to enjoy these Doujinshis in my language and that everyone can do the same in their respective languages.

The only thing I would ask is that you say where you got the scans.

A greeting.

The truth is that the subject of the SSJ5 is complicated, I commented on his blog and told me that he used that design because it is that everyone accepted as Goku SSJ5 (although actually is not Goku and nor is in SSJ5).

Regarding your SSJ5 designs, the truth is that it may be a bit more correct, SSJ4 was a transformation that would return the Saiyan to its original state using the power of the OZaru in human form by controlling your wild side.

Of this transformation, the truth is that the image that I like most is the first design that was made, in this design yopu can see a savage Goku looking but very focused, the first time that becomes SSJ4 in GT get to represent it properly but then lost a little and distort this transformation.

Following transformation as the logical thing had been something more simple like the step from normal state to SSJ1 and not that evolution of the SSJ3 (always remembering that this is not a SSJ5 but a character invented by a fan).

My idea would be something like what you have done in your images, something more simple.

By the way I have seen your page from Devianart and you have some very good pictures, congratulations.

Always appreciated, my series is bout to undergo a massive overhaul to fit established canon as I kinda got out of hand with some of the story and concepts. After that its looking for a manga artist to draw the series out. Youd be more than welcome to become its translator if you want.

Not a very good fanmanga. The story isn't that good and the artwork, while better than in most fancomics, is mostly copied. I still read it from time to time though.
