This may be a bit soon to ask but do you intend on cutting out Berserk Kale? The manga omits that transformation and...

Minor Broly movie spoiler:
The manga doesn't omit Kale's Berserk transformation. In both mediums, Vegeta (anime) and Cabba (manga) theorize that Kale's bulk-up state may have been related to a primate form of a Saiyan. Cutting out the berserker Super Saiyan form creates a domino effect of new plot holes (Why was Kale picked for the tournament in Ep. 93? How did the tournament arena and its populace become so wrecked starting from ep.100 to ep.101? Why are the Pride Troopers specifically targetting Goku and the U6 Saiyans in ep.101? Where does the green and bulk from Kafla's transformation come from?).

What I'm trying to say is that it's not "filler" to hack off with repercussions that require more workarounds, and the aforementioned plot points I mentioned occurred in Toyotaro's alternative take in a similar fashion.

Time for a mega nuclear thread bump. First off, new logo.

Image

Secondly, Episode 24 of Ultra Instinct Cut is up. https://youtu.be/IKulq52RIDM

Thirdly, Fused Yamatomo for Episode 99 has also released. https://youtu.be/ArhRVXVhsIE https://youtu.be/AreQxS6xYZ8

Fourthly, here's two new Faulconer Productions 2.0 Insert songs (along with "The God Prince" by The Enigma TNG for Vegeta's Sacrifice from the already released Episode 127)

https://youtu.be/hNdwIpTzOl0 Vegeta's Sacrifice

https://youtu.be/dt0os8SI_zo - "Father & Son Fusion" by Scott Morgan and The Enigma TNG - Gohan vs Boo

https://youtu.be/PlM2CWijCCo "Circle Of Heroes" by Scott Morgan - Vegeta's Respect

And finally, Episode 25 of Ultra Instinct Cut will be released next Saturday as well. So I'll save the more particular details and chatter about the projects until then. For now, I'll just say I'm doing a lot of "spring cleaning" related activities to make my production pipeline more efficient in regards to things coming quicker than they have.

So, until then, stay tuned...

Episode 25 of UIC and Episode 01 of Kikuchi Z are up!

Youtube nuked my channel, so no new videos at the moment. Originally I was working on Fused Yamamoto for Episode 100, but I think I've hit a snag with continuing on Boo Kai for the moment. Having gone through and spliced the audio tracks between every episode of Boo in Premiere, it's very apparent how poor the sound effects quality are on the center channels, to the point where not even music can mask the serious deficiencies. And noticing it has made me even more hyper aware of it in Kai and Super. So, as far as Kai, I think I'm just going to stick with 1-98 and work through each episode mining sound effects from Diccolo-420's rips to help build a library for the Boo portion. Though, it also occurred to me that maybe the Z Blu rays might be useful, but I have no idea if the quality of the 5.1 mix was even improved over the orignal orange bricks, or if there's a method for extracting isolated sound effects from those. If anyone has any particular knowledge with working with the Z Blu-rays, please let me know your opinion.

So in the meantime, I'll probably shift focus back on Super more, though I'm also still trying to finish setting up all the Kai episodes in Adobe. The first Kikuchi Z episode served as a test of sorts.for me for paying extra attention to recreating every background or reverb effect, and might be the best mix I've ever put out. Takes a lot more work, but I'm pretty satisfied with the result. Will take what I've learned forward with Super, and tinker with the previous episodes once all of Ultra Instinct Cut is finished.

Episode 26 of UIC should be along next Saturday.

Episode 26 of Ultra Instinct Cut is up.

A couple of days late, but with good reason, as I just spent the weekend tolling away on this.

Episode 27 next week.

Out of curiosity, when you get to the TOP do you plan to use the Japanese version of Ultimate Battle?
Dragon Ball Arc Rankings: 1. Piccolo Daimaō 2. Saiyan 3. 22nd Budōkai 4. 23rd Budōkai 5. Hunt For the Dragon Balls 6. Zamasu 7. Tournament of Power 8. 21st Budōkai 9. Broly 10. Battle of Gods 11. Boo 12. U6 Tournament 13. Freeza 14. Red Ribbon Army 15. Artificial Humans/Cell 16.Golden Freeza

Zero context, zero setup. Its in NO way meant to be seen as a "beginning point" for ANYTHING other than the next story arc. It flows precisely and fluidly from where things left off in the aftermath of the 23rd Budokai and mostly hits the ground running from there without really stopping to look back. You're plopping someone into the middle of a book starting at chapter 195 out of 519 for absolutely no good goddamn reason, with very minimal opportunity to look back at much needed context and character/story growth.

I ended up working on a few Final Chapter Fused Yamatomo episodes last week in a surprising flurry. These are by no means finalized, given the work it's going to take to touch up the sound effects and whatnot as I mentioned before, but for musical enjoyment purposes, I think they do the job. So 117-122, 142 are up on MEGA as I type.

Haven't touched the next episode of UIC, even though it's basically sitting there waiting there encoded and ready for a final check before upload. I'll get back to it...sometime...

Oh, and as far as the Japanese version of Ultimate Battle, I can't really say, as I haven't heard the dubbed song and have a particular opinion about it. If it feels like having your mouth washed out with soap, I may make that change.

So, maybe I'm not paying attention, but the files on Mega are just images? And youTube only has trailers? Ultra Instinct Cut is what I am referring to, btw. Not sure how much is to much to talk about these kind of things on this board, as I am new, but would appreciate any pointers. Thanks.

Sorry for the extra long delay, but Episodes 27-30 for Ultra Instinct Cut are up!

I've revised the release method as far as options, along with a new Youtube channel dedicated to highlighting and documenting the changes (that hopefully won't get killed off this time).

[28] Goku vs Goku Black https://youtu.be/k-p_lp6w2tE

[30] Zamasu kills Gowasu (No Filler) https://youtu.be/7uy_ZAUKMpI

[30] Meeting Zamasu and Black (No Filler) https://youtu.be/YNSB5XHBHZw

31 is almost ready. Part of the months of delay has been due to wanting to get all my Dragon Ball resources organized in a much more work-flow friendly manner. That mostly is a non-issue now, but also the brand new computer I'm editing on certainly doesn't hurt.

More Super real soon. I've completed the Kikuchi track for TFC 121, and have also started working on the Faulconer since the full episode suites are available for that. Finishing Black and ToP is my priority (because God forbid I'm not done with it by the time the eventual continuation is announced or airing).

I do have a small question I'd like to ask the community though. I'm using Handbrake for these last batch of Super encodes, and since I have a spare computer, I'd like to go ahead and run the complete batch of all 167 Kai episodes and get them encoded to be ahead of the game.

Problem is with my current settings, I've noticed that the picture is a little off, and not 1:1 in a visually lossless manner that'd I'd like. I've posted some screencaps of the differences and my Handbrake settings if anyone more knowledgeable about encoding anime really well would like to chime in with some advice for tweaking. Otherwise, I'll just keep using Super as a guinea pig until I figure it out Not like I won't be redoing all of them anyway, But I'd like to get the settings perfect before doing the massive Kai batch.

An aspect of this project that is pretty underrated is your rescores. Your version of the Uni 6 arc is worth it just for that. But also some key padding removal really streamlines the experience, so your Uni 6 is my go-to.

I do not like the FT arc, the story beats, dialogue, and the garbage ending really hurt what ultimately feels like a fanfiction. That being said, these last few eps of your project have helped to refine an inherently flawed arc. I'm curious how you'll deal with SSJ Rage and the ending.

What I'm most excited about is your version of the TOP. The theme of trust really comes full circle and there are some great moments in that arc. I have a few requests for that arc. 17 & Freeza's recruitments should not be skipped, if anything they should simply be cut down a bit. Not only are those fights visually incredible, but I believe that if you rescore them properly, they would be awesome. As for the TOP itself, I think it ultimately boils down to tightening it up. But please do not cut out 18 v Ribbriane or Piccolo & Gohan v The Namekians. Also, please use the Japanese version of the Ultra Instinct theme, or any version that's better than the official Funimation version.

So what's the gameplan moving forward? From your latest post, it sounds like UIC is the priority and your workflow is more refined. Could we expect a release schedule? Thank you.

The ending is the last thing you see from a story, so a bad one can really ruin an otherwise good story (not that the FT arc was good, but still). If I were to make my own edit of the arc, I'd end the fight with fused Zamasu right after his clash with Goku's Kamehameha then skip directly to everyone returning to the past within the time machine. Toriyama did intend on the arc ending with Goku and Vegeta just teaming up against him, which is what kind of happened with those beam struggles. I know that may seem anticlimactic, but my god is it better than...whatever it is that happens after.
