Love the extra bits of cloth hanging off Piccolo's turban. Its a cool little visual detail.

When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Believe it or not, the cape is the biggest pain in the arse to draw, not his costume details.

Thank you! It was something from the initial draft of Sage Namek Piccolo that I couldn't really bear getting rid of. I think its a nice little addition, as well as a throwback to his first turban in Dragon Ball.

One complaint I'd like to voice for this series is that I feel the drawings are a smidge too a bit too clean, specifically your remake chapters. I kind of prefer the "dirtier" look say Young Jijii, makes it look cooler and more detailed imo. Then again you actually have a good plot going on where as AF is just a series of well-drawn fight scenes for the most part.

Well, Jijii and I use different materials, and its just the way I draw, so I can't really do much about that.

I think the art looks very sharp because all the lines have the same thickness. Is that it?

Yeah it is. Actually that's my only criticism about Malik's art; variance in line thickness would make the art even better :!:

Again that has to do with the tools I use in comparison to Jijii. Jijii uses higher grade comic pens and inkwells, meanwhile I have to use mechanical pencils and artist pens cuz I'm poor lol

Pretty sure Malik sells his fanfiction on Amazon. Might be wrong though.

I'm sure Malik is more knowledgeable about the subject than I am. That seems a bit risky, though.
