Funnily enough, these AMV were what made my DB interest spark again by the years of 2006-11, then finally in 2012 I could rewatch all 508 episodes, 17 movies, 2 OVAS again, to only finish in 2013 when BoG came out...

Can the Dragon Balls be used to kill people? It's never been used that way before. Never even seemed to occur to anyone as a possibility.

You have to word the wish right in the case of Kami's version of Shenron and Dende's version of Shenron respectively, in order to pull-off wishing for the death of someone and/or something. Also, I remember that in the Piccolo Daimaō Saga, Chiaotzu had tried to ask Shenron to kill Piccolo Daimaō, but Chiaotzu was killed by Piccolo Daimaō before Chiaotzu had been able to finish his wish and that in the Saiyan Saga, Oolong had tried asking Shenron to take care of Nappa and Vegeta before the latter two Saiyans would have made it to Earth. But Shenron outright told Oolong and all of the others at Kame House that it was far beyond his power to have killed Nappa and Vegeta, because of the fact that Kami was in fact infinitely weaker than Nappa and especially the likes of Vegeta.

Goku should be at the bottom of that list. He's just getting main character favoritism. lol
I do agree with Gohan being high on the list. He should be number one. He's got brains and brawn, as probably Earth's third strongest fighter as well as a brilliant student. On top of that, he's got a pure heart.
After him, though, it's hard. Trunks is a good man, but he's gotta have the worst PTSD after going through TWO apocalypses. On the plus side, he isn't spoiled like his more fortunate counterpart.
Then there's Vegeta, who's really grown into his role as father. While emotionally distant, he puts his family first, even above his own interests. Being a prince probably doesn't hurt either, even if his home planet is gone. But he's also prideful and easily angered.
Krillin isn't a bad guy, but he's kinda pathetic. Once Super Saiyans were on the table, but basically gave up trying to keep up, while others like Tien continued improving themselves. He turned into a bit of a coward. He also got extremely lucky in love. His first relationship was with a beautiful (but stupid) girl, but he gave her up because of his lack of confidence. Then with #18, she just thought he was cute, and he won points with her by NOT killing her, and screwing over his friends and the whole world in the process.
I'd go with Gohan > Trunks > Vegeta > Krillin >>> Goku
