Well, he just flew through the Red Ribbon and Piccolo Daimao material like, super quick... Super fun "read" though.

I know there are lots of changes, but I wonder what specifically sparked Daimao's early return? How did Pilaf find and release him so much sooner?

It seems more like a quick highlight more than anything else. I think the battle with Daimaou was still supposed to take place after the Twenty-Second Tenka'ichi Budoukai, though, although I'm not sure.

I don't know. I'd think there would have been a narration box at least noting a time skip? Even if it just said something like the Japanese equivalent of "Three years later..."?

It seemed to me that Daimao's spawn were killing Red Ribbon Army members in Tambourine's(?) introduction. So I think this was all part of the same quest for the Dragon Balls?

I'm really hoping this Dragon Ball Sai isn't dead. In December, on the comment section for chapter five, caldostrong did say: "About this comic, when I have some news I will tell you."

This fan-manga is very good and its art too, but I found the fight between Vegeta and Kakarotto way too long and without he transforming in Oozaru was kinda "meh" but I still liked

Besides, Vegeta having no problems at all in solve DB plot by himself due his elite heritage was something well developed

Looks really good and very official looking. I can't wait to read it in English soon. It would be cool if the artist pitch this idea to Shueisha and made it official. I can see Toriyama liking this.

This looks very good. I hope an English translated version comes out soon.

I enjoyed the repercussions of that. Makes sense why he had so much trouble with Kakkarotto.

I've been on dragongarowLEE's twitter and it seems like he is still doing some stories of Vegeta in Goku's place. He even tweeted a few pages that feature Omori and Tights from Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, and bulma has a nice haircut. :)

Wow! The art here is awesome. I would totally buy that manga if there was an English translation.

Speaking of fan mangas, is anybody still reading Multiverse?

You might get more answers if you ask in the Dragon Ball Multiverse thread.

Anyhow, I wish higher-res images from this (awesome) comic would leak online already.

Seems like LEE is ready to earn some money thanks to this gem:

I don't know what is his job, but he's too good to let this be only as hobby. One of the best japanese DB fellows I saw in Twitter.
A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.

Huh. I kind of always thought there was more to Super Vegeta Den's early Dragon Ball retelling, and that the scans we've seen were incomplete. Does it really jump around that quickly? I could have sworn there was a page I saw online where kid Vegeta meets kid Piccolo Jr right after killing Demon King Piccolo.

I still hope detailed scans eventually make there way online someday. Unless LEE makes his Dōjinshi importable, us western fans won't be able to appreciate his gorgeous artwork any other way.
