Doujinshi Scans

Post by StarRot » Sun Apr 06, 2014 4:53 pm

About a year ago I ran a doujinshi blog. Then I got sick and let it rot. RIP
But recently I started up a new one, one that I don't plan to let die again any time soon.

http://doujinscans.tumblr.com/

Dragonball isn't a main fandom of mine anymore really, and this blog is now more focused on BlazBlue and other series, but I do still own a ton of DB doujins and occasionally buy new ones - that I will of course scan.

While my blog isn't a straight up porn blog or anything like that, there IS some NSFW content, so if you wish not to be exposed to such things, please check this thread for new DB scans rather than the blog - I will post a link when I upload new SFW scans.

This is just a nice little doujn, quite an old one at that. The art is pretty cute.

Great to see you back - with new doujins to boot :) Since we're on the topic: would you happen to have some (either SFW or NSFW) canon-fitting (that can take place during a well-established point in the plot of DB) doujins?

I believe I do, I'll have a look in my collection, and see if there's anything interesting to scan (its embarrassing to admit, but I have so many doujins, I forget what I have orz)

You should put up Jaco and the DB prequel!

Do you realise the difference between doujinshi and actual licensed material? Putting Jaco (od DB- for that matter) on a publicly available website would constitute copyright infringement while scanning and downloading a doujin is located more in the fluid boundary between legal and unforseen by the law-givers. Doujins aren't really covered by copyright in the first place (or rather they aren't covered by the monetary and proprietary part of it - the "authorship recognition" part is viable for them as for any artistic human endavour) so uploading them doesn't violate any strict rules. And uploading Jaco would violate them.

Hellooo
I've not posted any (SFW) DB doujins to my blog recently, but I AM organizing my doujin collection at the moment - so right now its a perfect time to request scans of doujins featuring your favourite characters, themes/genre or whatever. So please feel free to ask. (I am also open to NSFW requests, but I cannot link them here)

Also my blog is nearing 100 followers, if/when it gets to that, I will be doing a giveaway, so please look out for that (most likely it will be figure giveaway)

Sorry for double post, but I was bored and counted some of my doujins, might be fun to share....

This is not my full collection, I have like 500 more in my attic :V
Count -
41 - Blazblue
116 - Dragonball
48 - FKMT works
25 - Other Series

Visual guide...

FKMT (Kaiji, Akagi, etc. works)/Other

And yes, I'm always looking to buy, for all sorts of series, so if you're looking to offload some doujins, feel free to contact me.

Do you have anything with Gohan? He's my favorite character!

Maybe you'd happen to have a doujin version of BoG? I'm aware of at least two:
Judging from the art style they were created by two different people. Sadly all I have been able to find online is one page of the first one and 14 pages (actually bad photos that I tried in vain to straighten in PS) of the second one. I'd be really happy if you had some more :)

I second BOG-related doujins, I've seen a good amount of fanart, but little in the way of comics.

Helloo hello, got caught up with holidays and other stuff, sorry for late reply -

I'm notttt super into DB as I used to be so I dont really buy many DB doujins, unless they're outstanding, but I will certainly keep an eye out for BoG works.

As for Gohan, yeah I have number of doujins with him, likely will be next week I will scan, because of the release/translation scedual of my blog. (I don't want to make TOO many posts in a single week, I like to stagger them out, you see.)

And what do you think of Gichi, from circle "Power Level 69"? It's Ooishi Naho's past doujinshi career, as stated here: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtop ... =7&t=21016
I would like to see something of it, I've got just scans from this one by looking for it around google:
Image
good quality, read it here (Gichi/Ooishi Naho pages start in the middle of the doujin book, you'll recognize them): http://bchanhomepage.com/dj/FanBookSpec ... ge001.html
four volumes are still missing from my collection:

Is anybody out there interested in these like me?

In the pages after those there are the ones drawn by Ooishi Naho. Still beautiful art. :)
