Or stuff like Kaiohken which was the last time shown in the Otherworld Tournament. Would be interesting to count a SSJ3 Kaiohken Goku. For drawings I would be in there as well. Also would be cool to have them interact with each other. With SSJ4 Gogeta for example staring down on Super Yi Xing Long while he is all grumpy looking at him or whatever.

OK, so I lost count, but that's about 225 characters spread out over 65 tiers.

I may make adjustments for where characters rank strength-wise, but at this point the main task is to figure out how to simplify this into a coherent-looking single huge image.

I personally wouldn't mind if the styles were different for the same character throughout the series. If anything, I was thinking that a tier of characters should be done in the same style since they'd all be bundled next to each other. Would we be assigned characters by tier or were you thinking more of a "whoever wants it, gets it" approach?

That is a good point. How about a mix-and-match approach: someone does all the major in one section, while minor characters can be handled by whoever wants to do them?

Doing GT and Super together would be a bad idea, since nobody agrees on which has the stronger characters. It would be better to first make a big pic for the manga, then another for movies, then another for GT, then another for Super.

Yeah, that's probably best. Especially since just covering the manga is more than enough work for the time being.

The current plan is for me to task each person with 2~3 characters to draw. Usually ones that are interacting in some way, and therefore should all be drawn by the same person. Once someone’s finished a set of characters, if they’re willing to work more I’ll assign them another set. I’ll take people’s preferences into account, but it won’t be absolute. I’ll also consider which characters I think should be done at the moment, and a big spinning wheel may be involved.

Kaboom was the one I asked about this first and the one who suggested making it a group project, so I'm designating him "head artist", meaning that in addition to whatever segment he wants to draw, he'll also be in charge of putting everyone's contributions together into a single image, and filling in any gaps as need be. And he's in charge of working out any other art related details.

The target art style is chibi. Before starting on your actual contribution, you can do a sample picture of Goku, to make sure everyone's on roughly the same page, but this isn't necessary. Well, I guess this is the sort of thing Kaboom will handle.

Here's my attempt at a "chibi" styled Goku. Not really used to working in this style yet so I might have gone a bit detail heavy but I mainly wanted to see if I could get the likeness right.

As for what characters I'm mainly interested in drawing... Android 17 has always been a favourite as well as yardrat Goku. Since Future Gohan doesn't seem to be a choice I wouldn't mind doing Ultimate Gohan or perhaps the Dabura/Gohan combo. Not sure about any others at the moment but I'll give it a think.

Btw it might be a good idea to do a raffle or something for Vegetto. I'm only saying that because he's on the top and as a result is more "special" than the others.
