He pretty much sums up the entire fanbases' opinion in one video. It's pretty great.
I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

Great Review. He didn't really have any unique opinions about GT, just the same things everyone has said, but it was entertaining.
Also, He really should've mentioned some of the more technical stuff like the animation and score. I LOVE that GT score.
I also noticed 2 mistakes.
1. Piccolo does appear early on during the Baby portion of the story.
2. It doesn't matter what type of wish you make. Dragon Balls attain negative energy no matter what. Was the whole" bad wish=positive energy and good wish=negative energy"a dub thing? I don't remember.

How do you get into the Ginyu Force? With a letter of RECOOMEndation!

Re: Blackenfist's AMAZING GT Review
This was really great: it really highlights that the problem with GT is with character utilization: both of Goku and Pan (who are on screen) and of everyone else (who largely isn't). "Dragon Ball", despite being a simplistic fighting story, shines because of its character interactions. When you take those away, or regress them, you lose what makes Dragon Ball Dragon Ball.
People complain about canonicity, plot holes, animation or even the pacing, are missing the main thing: a lot can be excused for good characterization. I completely agree with him that the best parts of GT are the slice-of-life or character moments it does include. I do go back and watch say, Vegeta interacting with bra, or the end of GT with Goku interacting with everyone. But there were so many missed opportunities here.
And there is something very critical here, too, regarding utilization being solely battle utilization. I don't care if Goku ends up winning every fight or is unquestionably stronger. But characters can be utilized in so many other ways, even if just in B plots. Goten and Trunks could have been having fun together. Bulma would have been great tech help on a voyage. Pan could have been trained up by Goku to follow a learning trajectory like he did (ki, stillness, better opponents, etc), maybe even attain SSJ by the end. Vegeta could have been more utilized as a dramatic foil for the heroes and the villains (Baby taking him over, for example, made little dramatic sense when having a Tuffle interact with the Prince of Saiyans in battle makes for better drama).

Re: Blackenfist's AMAZING GT Review
I watch his Top 10 Biggest Mistakes In Dragon Ball GT video and I do agree with most of his points. My issue with the Black Star Dragon Balls is that you know that the Earth will be wish back if it gets destroyed. I think if they add a catch to it like "The Earth won't able to be wish back if it gets destroyed" then it can add more drama to it. I also agree with him on lack of Toriyama in GT. Toriyama knows how write humor and characters. I always feel like people who try to write Dragon Ball never capture his level of writing in my opinion.
