I dislike this manga as I know that SSJ Bardock is only a matter of time. And when I checked the illustrations I found a picture of one half of Bardock's face in his base form, and the other half in super saiyan. *drinks heavily* I think I'm done with this fan manga

Yes SSJ and beyond is probably inevitable if he goes beyond the retelling.

Despite the likley hood some of tracing, I really like fan mangas like this. It's really intresting to see fan ideas come to life. I remember reading a similar Bardock era manga called "Dragon Ball Zero" a while back, I thought it was fun seeing Raditz get a backstory. (wish I knew what happened to that, I think it's no longer online).
