There were multiple times where I had to pause and go back to figure out what Goku said (one I'm still not sure about).

Other than that, great episode and I can't wait for the final part! I'm really liking Little Kuriboh as Freeza.

It might be because they rushed part 2 due to fans being impatient.

Naw, no rush.

If people are having a hard time hearing what's being said, that's something we'll have to be more careful about in the future. But we had several test-runs of the episode before it was posted to make sure the levels were fine. There was no rush.

Did Goku say "Ah, my Gotenks!" or "Ah, my Gotens!"? I'm pretty sure he said Gotenks from the Majin Boo arc, or maybe's "Ah, my Gotens".

Between the two, which is waiting inside Goku for the chance to be created?

Goten doesn't show up until the Buu arc either...

Also tossing one into the mix for not understanding a lot of dialog. This episode seemed worse than others in recent history. Both the wife and I had a couple "Huh? What did they say?" moments. Couldn't tell ya' which lines they were anymore, but it was often.

It's not just a matter of the levels matching up, but mostly enunciation. I don't think you hear it, Kaiser, because you're too close to the source material and already know the script.

I think it was "Ah, my Gotens!" Obviously, a play on both "gonads", a slang term for testicles, and "Goten", his future son in the Majin Boo arc.

Right, we'll have to be more careful about it in the future then. :\

They were all wished back with the Earth Dragon Balls, which had already been used to wish back Krillin before. Come on, you know this.

Well, if there are any Edmonton Oilers fans who are also fans of Team Four Star, we might get to see a "NAAAAAAAAAAIL!" sign or two at Rexall Place in the upcoming season (assuming there isn't another lockout); the 1st overall pick in the NHL Draft is named Nail Yakupov.

Incidentally, the Oilers happen to be scheduled to be in Detroit on Saturday, November 3rd... right smack dab in the middle of Youmacon.

I'll add that I caught everything perfectly fine, but I was listening with headphones - could make a difference?

I'll second that I heard everything perfectly okay and was using headphones.

I dunno, I was using headphones as well and there were a few parts that I had trouble making out too, though I was able to more or less figure them out upon further re-watching. My headphones are the big, over-the-ears kind though. Maybe earbuds would work better?

Oddly enough, I was just listening through my speakers, and I heard everything all right.

Oh, that's right! Somehow, seeing the namekian ones being used and Dende talking about it made me mix it all up in my head  . Thanks!

As far as the listening discussion, I always use headphones. The "I am become error" line wasn't all too clear to me the first time. (But yeah, besides that, pretty solid)
